I got a call from this number and also a text telling me to "please call". I don't pick up numbers that I don't recognize, but to text me too! That's just rude and a waste of texting minutes!!!

(636) 970-4415 - November 16th, 2009 5:00am
Scam call - I couldn't get to my cell phone in time to answer, so "Rick Morgan" left the same message voice message saying that he can cut my debt in half but that this is the last "courtesy call" he can give me and that I should call him at an 800 number that corresponds to the one already described by Amy. In fact, my call is apparently a duplicate of hers - robo-call.
(636) 970-4415 - November 16th, 2009 5:00am
Also got the "hi" version of this call. My guess, this is less malicious than SM is suggesting. Some idiot probably just installed the wrong recording (or else why would they say "hi" to everyone?) so instead of the spam, we get the broken message.Saved me some time at least. Called the 636-970-4415 number back, and it is listed as disconnected, so its a s****ed call to begin with.
(636) 970-4415 - November 16th, 2009 5:00am
Hi then went dead.
(636) 970-4415 - November 16th, 2009 5:00am
Silence for a moment followed by "Hi." Clearly phishing for people to pick up phone to see if number called is legit. Possibly using for phone number for marketing scam.

(636) 970-4415 - November 16th, 2009 5:00am
Just got a call from this number on my cell phone, left a voicemail. "Hey guys, this is Rick Morgan. Yeah, sorry it took so long to get back to your there. I've been busy with this new program that came across my desk. It can cut your interest rates in half and lower your monthly payments. I see you guys are only making the minimum payments now, so I could definitely help with that. Just give me a call back here at 1-800-676-9314." This is obviously some random telemarketer. I have no outstanding debt, and my cell isn't listed on any of my acounts anyway... so I'm not even sure how/where they would have gotten my number.
(636) 970-4415 - November 16th, 2009 5:00am

(636) 970-4415 - November 16th, 2009 5:00am
Robo-Call from a someone who claims to be Rick Morgen. Standard scam about reducing credit card debt. Tried to give some semi-specific information such as I'm only paying minimum monthly payments but I pay in full every month. I was asked to call back at 800-676-9314 which when I looked up that number the same recording pops up at multiple caller ID number (402-982-0846, 314-439-0*** and now 636-970-4415).How much would it cost to get a service on my phone that blocks the phoneowner problem list?
