I had a voicemail this morning, but no missed call. i have had missed calls from restricted numbers twice this week between 8 and 8:30 am, probably was them... This is the exact same message I received, word for word, 2 years ago in August. only then, the guy had a very creepy ****stani accent and breathed heavily throughout the message. But when I first s****ed getting them, they were not correct number formats, so I knew they were coming from somewhere foreign, and they would call over and over and over, like, as soon as I would get one voice mail, my phone would already be ringing. I finally had to turn my phone off, when I turned on the next morning I had 25 voicemails, all the same. He would only leave a message every few calls... so yea they are pretty awful. That time I had my bf answer and tell them to stop calling because I wasn't going to answer so just give it up, and they did. And as we speak I just received a funny call... awesome. I hope someone puts a stop to these sons of b***hes, I'm unemployed and haven't taken a pay day loan out in 5 years.

I received a phone call yes****ay that said I was being sued in court today and that it was from an unpaid payday loan company and that I needed to send them $1,123.21 to pay it off.  And they needed my credit card number and a photo ID to be faxed with the information to 646-329-9776.  Like a ***** I did this not knowing if possibly a past loan did not get paid.  But when I tried to call 631-772-9973 back to make sure they got the fax the number has been disconnected. I tried to call them approximately 30 minutes after I faxed the information. Not so****ing I would expect from a credit or law agency.  They had a thick accent but claimed to have names such as Russell Jackson and Ben Foster and where even threatening to take members of my family to court.  In the mean time I have blocked my card and alerted the credit bureau of possible fraud and am filing a police report.

I received the same phone call that you all received from the aforementioned phone number.  They claimed that a lawsuit was being filed a***nst me for an unpaid debt from 'payday loans' and the 'global corporation services'.  They threatened to sue me for $1000.  Me being ******, I gave them my account info thinking that what they were telling may be legit, but I thought it was odd that they did not give me any information regarding the amount of the debt I owed and when this loan was made.  I had my attorney friend call them and she grilled them; everything they said sounded more and more bogus.  THEY ARE SCAMMERS, I believe.  I went to my bank and told them about it.  I have to close my accounts and c****e everything else, I am also going to file a police report and notify the credit bureau just in case they get crazy!!  DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE!

I received a phone call also; said his name was Robert Francis from BCA law offices with a number 631-772-9973.  I did not speak with him but he gave the above information to my daughter stating that I must call them regarding a urgent legal matter and I needed to call them as soon as possible or my attorney of record.  First of all, who gives out that type of information to someone's daughter????Second; when i tried to call back the phone was disconnected.  They tried to call me a***n this morning only I did not pick up the phone.  I have contacted the US Attorney office; BBB; credit bureaus and police department.  Hope that stops these nasty calls.  I do not owe anyone any money and from what I can gather they are trying to collect for pay day loans, of which I have none.

They are scammers.  Somehow they obtained info from a payday loan company or some other establishment? and they are using scare tactics to get money from innocent people.  Do not, I repeat, do not answer any phone calls from numbers you do not recognize  because once they get a hold of you---the calls are relentless.  I've never answered their calls----so I only get 1 or 2 calls every 2 or 3 months.  A lot of people get calls 30 times a day once they establish contact.  They may even call relatives or places of employment.  THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THEY CAN DO UNLESS YOU GIVE THEM YOUR INFO.  There is a active fraud investigation taking place a***nst these lowlifes.  They all have middle eastern accents and switch numbers often.

What happened?I got the same phone call today at my work.  They knew specifics about me, including family members and my last 4 social security numbers.They said they would be taking me to court tomorrow.  I asked what court and told them I had never been contacted.  They asked for $1200.  I have not faxed over any information yet. Is this real?

same phone calls about pay day loans. When questioned they would not give any information about the company (location, phone #, website, etc.). They are scammers.  Said his name was roger williams.  DO NOT GIVE AN PERSONAL INFO TO THEM! i had my bank block any ACH transactions with out my ok.

I received the sames phone call today.  I did the same thing and now I am freaking out about it. I have called the credit card company but I really hope he doesn't get anymore information on me.

I RECIEVED THIS SAME PHONE CALL TODAY FROM RUSSEL JACKSON.  THAT IT WAS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME TO RETURN HIS CALL OR MY ATTORNEY..SOO THIS IS A SCAM TO SCARE YOU INTO BELIVING YOU ARE BEING SUED,,,,

got a call today from same person,actually 2 people.have gotten before.they make threats but that is it.turn into ftc,

called threatening me saying Iwas being sued.  Do not be scammed
