Received a call from this number. Tried calling back several times, finally getting someone to answer. Lady said that a form was filled out on line regarding winning a $1000 gift card to Wal Mart. I said not me, she the ***g up. When I called back I could never get through, it would connect and then disconnect. Apparently they put the number in their system to reject after the initial call. If you block your number by dialing *67 their system cuts you off before it connects. I finally tried from another number. It took several calls to finally get through. Lady answered, I told her I'm getting calls, however they **** up when I answer. She said we don't have anyone in system with my number. (I'm calling from a different number as noted above) I ask her if she would give me more info? She said let me transfer you to my supervisor. I said I'm guessing I will be ***g up on before ever speaking to anyone. I was not cut off and actually spoke to a man. I explained to him what was going on, including the ***dreds of complaints on line tied to their number. I told him the the prior person would not give me any information. I was able to get him to tell me the company name is South West Publishing in Ft Myers Florida. He said they call to sell magazine subscriptions to people that complete forms on line about winning a gift card or other item ****d etc). I gave him the number they were calling and he said it was****ociated with a Kimberly Abbot with an address on South Madison Street in Denver and an MSN email address. He gave me all the info. None of which has nothing to do with me or my phone number. He said he would add my number to his do not call list. He spoke to me through the process without ****ing up on me. Answered my questions and said he would remove me. All of which I'm surprised about. I'm hoping by posting the company name and city here will help somehow stop places like this from calling because a form online if filled out. Also it may help others find the number online in the bogus format they utilize when calling people. They a record of complaints can be established here. Note that they place 11 in-front of the number on the caller ID which make it useless to call back or search online. By removing the 11 you end up with the 630-823-0527. The number shows on the caller ID as 1-163-082-30527 which is not recognized as a useful number when looking at your caller id. Keep in mind that when I called the number without the 11, I did reach a company that confirmed that my number was in their system which likely confirms that the number 630-823-0527 was the actual number calling me as they had my number in their computer. Thus this is good information****ociating these various numbers to the South West Publishing in Ft Myers FL. Sorry for the long post. I'm hoping this helps others. Scammer/Spammer calling and texting about winning a Best Buy gift card several times a day. It's a scam to get high dollar charges on your cellphone.

Sal called from this number on 06/29/30, saying I had won $1,000 Best Buy Gift Card and he was with some publishing company wanting to follow-up and get more info. Yes****ay I did respond by emaail to a message about winning a Best Buy gift card, but when I realized I was being scammed to get exhorbitant billings on my cell phone, I entered the number to delete parti****tion and ***g up. There should be a way to stop these deceptive practices.
