I just took a call from this number. He would not say his name or the business he represents. After I declined to tell him who in our office is in charge of employee benefits (that information is fairly clear from our webpage), he told me to "earn your eight-fifty and transfer" him. I told him I wouldn't transfer anyone if I did not have their name and the name of the organization they represent. He asked for my name, which I repeated. (I had given it when I picked up the phone.) When he repeated the "earn your 8.50" line, I told him I didn't think it would be worth his while to do so because our organization does not typically do business with people who are so rude. As I was saying that, he ***g up on me.
