A man called with a foreign accent saying he was from Windows, and said a Trojan virus had been discovered on my computer. He directed me to Teamview and wanted to remotely log onto my computer. I asked him where he was from and he said 'newok'. I said where? He spelled New York. I told him I wasn't going to let him remote into my computer. Never let anyone remote into your computer. No one works for Windows, they would work from Microsoft, and if they had discovered a Trojan virus going around, they would 'push', to my computer, a software fix to block the virus.

I answered and the man said he was with ge capital alarm svc. I asked how he got my number and he said "from one if his online partners" I said a few choice words and ***g up!
