received last night from a woman representing a company called “Live Voice”. The woman, Angie (Agent 1036), stated that I “qualified for a discount on my electric bill”. She said that she represents several electricity providers and would need my current electricity provider account number in order to be able to tell me what my discount was. I told her I was a PSNH customer and asked what my discount would be. She said that without my account number she could not tell me the discount amount. I asked what electricity providers she represented and she said that she could not tell me that. I told her that she did not need my account number in order to answer my questions. She then asked me if I wanted to be put on the “Do Not Call” list and ***g up. I called the number back (617-412-4642) and heard an automated recording asking if I wanted to be put on the “Do Not Call” list to press 1. I looked up the number on the internet and found out that it is a number located in Boston, MA managed by Omnipoint Miami E License, LLC.
