The person said they were calling for AT&T to inquire about my recent service. And it is true, I recently added a data line. But she said she couldn't take the information with me talking on my cell phone (AT&T doesn't want to use up a persons cell phone time, supposedly), and needed to call me back on my land line. Foolish me, I believed her and did want to voice a complaint. Never heard back from her. My gut feeling is that it may have been a spam call to verify cell phone numbers.

I've been getting calls from 615-886-7224 [FLAKE W.] - as it appeared on my Caller ID screen. On Wednesday 6/16/2010...I received one call in the evening. I didn't pick up the phone because I didn't know who [Flake W.] was from the caller ID. Then today 6/17/2010 - they called me twice already. The annoying part is they don't leave a message when my answering ma****e activated. They better stop harrassing me with these phones calls. I get calls at least three times a day that shows on my caller ID as: Flake-Wilkerson phone # (615) 886-7224. Whomever this is, calls my home line anywhere between 6am and midnight 2-3 times a day and has continued to call for the past 10 days. Carefully when the calls comes in and lets my phone ring about four times, we have not answered them. Our answering ma****e comes on and the caller ****s up within seconds and leaves no messages. However, we have observed whom it is on our caller ID as Flake-Wilkerson. My phone line with Verizon is suppose to block private callers with no phone numbers listed, and such callers are suppose to say whom they are and they are suppose to unblock their phone numbers. It does not block such annoying and law breaking callers. I have listed a complaint each time with FCC using the complaint form, but never know if the FCC is ever doing anything about it, especially when I am on the "Do-Not-Call-Registry." I do know after resear****g online that the calls are coming in from Nashville, TN. I read so much about this such caller on the internet and could not beleive what I read. To make things worse, the caller has made me even ask my spouse if they knew such a person. Of course in some marriages, this can cause friction if you did not both love and trust one another like we do. I hope this caller or people making such calls for some unknown reason are put behind bars for a long time and fined big time.

I got the same call tonight from 615-886-7224. A man saying he wanted to talk to me about my call a few days ago to AT&T. He told me conversation would be recorded! I told him it was not me that called it was my husband and he said ok and ***g up! I then called AT&T and talked to there customer service department and they told me that it was not them. There were no notes to show a follow up call was made or that a survey was conducted on any of my phone numbers. I am wondering if this is like that bank one thing where they said I had said yes to there billing me for insurance and I never even heard of them! Could this be that kind of thing? If someone can track down this please post it! I am very concerned now that I will have to fight another charge on my credit cards because of this call!

I just obtained AT&T cell service yes****ay. Today, I receive a call from Flake Wilkerson stating they were doing a survey for AT&T. I said IF this is a marketing call, my number is blocked from those kind of calls. He said it was just a few questions and he would then enter me into a compe***ion. I told him I do not entertain these kind of calls, so REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM YOUR CALLING LIST, or I will report you to the FCC. He said, OK and ***g up. I contact AT&T and gave the girl***** for allowing my number to get into this callers hands, as I specifically told her yes****ay, that my number is NOT to be farmed out to ANYONE. I called the number, got a recorded message identifying as a market research company, and then the announcement ****s up, does not take messages. Most annoying in that they call multiple times a day. Above os the complaint I just filed with donotcall.gov They say that they will add to an investigation. May I make two suggestions: 1. Everyone file a complaint with donotcall.gov 2. Caller ID on my phone said the name was Flake Wilkerson. They have called repeatedly at different times of the day and night. I let my answering ma****e pick it up but they never leave a message. I wish I could put them on a list not to call my number. They are very annoying. I feel like someone has given my number (without my permission) to this company and they won't stop calling.
