It's legit: The call is actually from the Murfreesboro Firefighters Local 3035. The Murfreesboro firefighters for the last 18 years have shared a benefit concert with the Nashville Firefighters in Nashville at the Muni****l Auditorium. The proceeds are used throughout Rutherford Co.l elementary schools to teach 2nd grade children fire safety & prevention education, they also help citizens of Rutherford Co. who lose their homes to fire or natural disasters. No money is taken over the phone, no telemarketing companies are used. Wanted me to buy some concert tickets, for $100!! - then said, he would send me a donation envelope to send back, if I didn't want to buy the tickets. I'm going to see what I get in the mail - before I call channel 4 I-team to look into it.
