Right after we posted our missing dogs on facebook, this number texted both me and my husband saying that they found our dog and could we pick him up. I said yes, and they said they needed to send me a verification code to make sure I was real, and once I sent them the code, they would call me. They said there was so****ing wrong with my phone number and asked for another phone number. I asked for their name and they said "never mind please, can you give me a different number". I then realized it must be some sort of scam.
