My guess is that it is part of the phone nuisance program of the continuous, sociopathic Corintelpro, extrajudicial harassment program. The number is from the Ohio State University Call Center. It is a University run center that employs OSU students to make calls on behalf of the different colleges and schools and departments across the Universtiy. Most of the calls are to talk to friends and alumni of Ohio State and ask for support, but they also help with surveys and other phone related programs. Most of the time they are mistaken for telemarketers and are not given the benefit of the doubt. They are a great group of students that really do enjoy talking to alumni and friends of the university. I was a student once, along will a lot of you, and we know how hard it was. Please give them a chance, even if you can't help to support OSU at that ti*****anks!

This isn't the Alumni****ociation but it is a solicitation from OSU. I have been receiving a call twice a week now--happened last year as well. I finally answered it and was asked to donate money (as if I don't already give them enough in tuition!)

how do you know that it is a campus number. by the way, dont they ask alumni for donations by mail and thru other fund raising events. very shady at best. osu has all 0001-9999 numbers given to them by the phone company. thats a lot of numbers

They call here about once a week. It says "Ohio State University". I believe it's for donations to help with OSU, they never leave a message & unfortunately I'm usually at work so I can't get to answer them.
