We receive calls from this number beginning the 6th of each month. The caller ID shows Santander Bank and the callers identify themselves as calling from Santander Bank. Although the mortgage (with that bank) is due on the 1st of the month and may be paid by the 16th of the month without incurring a late fee, the callers insist that the payment is overdue and should have been paid on or before the 1st of the month. They have asked for Social Security number. They already have that information, and more, and should not be asking for a SS#. I have called the number back and I get either a busy signal or a recording saying the number is not in service. At times, I have answered the phone and the caller asks to speak with my husband; but when he takes the phone, the caller ****s up. I have reported these calls to Santander and have not received a reasonable explanation for the calls. I am very su****ious because I have received calls on my phone and when I check my caller ID my own phone number appears on it. I am both annoyed and petrified by these calls.
