Received calls from this number at odd hours of the day and night. They NEVER left a message. 605 is the area code for Rapid City, South Dakota. It seems to me that a whole lot of credit card companies have their headquarters offices in South Dakota. We have NOT had any credit cards since 1999. We were afraid that computers would go crazy at Y2K, so we paid off all of our credit cards and then canceled them. After the hoopla for Y2K was over, we decided that we LIKE living without credit cards - and NEVER took out any new credit cards. We suspect that this may be a telemarketing scheme by someone connected to a credit card company. When we Googled the number and checked in the white pages of Rapid City, South Dakota - we could NOT find a reference for this particular number. We also tried to Yellow Pages reverse directory and had no luck there either.
