Information I obtained in my research:This is a company called Windows Plus out of Warren, Michigan. They’re run and owned by the Carrier family. I was a gassed when I picked up a call from "Giving Hearts" which I thought would be a charity. The operator asked, by my full name, if I "S***e Smith, the home owner" was home. I asked who is calling and she said "Windows Plus, are you the home owner?" I informed her I was on the "Do No Call' list and NOT to call me a***n. I was so outraged by the use of a bogus "charitable" organization’s name that I called and spoke with one of the clan Carol Carrier- Marketing Director. I asked if “Giving Hearts is a charity misleading the public to furnish YOUR family with more money and business?” I conveyed to her what a repulsive way to drum up business and to get a conscious and to stop doing it. I also informed her that I filed a complaint with the information I obtained to the National Do Not Call Registry on their web site at: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx I understand people are thinking of different and unique ways to obtain new business but come on. Don't do it like that! Yes, our economy is poor and suffering but we are all in this together. We should depend on one another for help and****istance. Underhanded ways of greed is not the way. Take a look at “The ***s Cats” on their web site. Ron Carrier–President & CEO and Don Carrier–Vice President & COO look like they should be rea****g for a good diet rather than trying to reach the public for more money and business.http://www.windowplus.net/staff.htmWindows Plus6490 East Ten Mile RoadCenter Line, MI 48015Phone: (586) 754-2060Toll Free: 1-800-497-9011
