Had a call from a number listed as 585-919-0331 on the caller ID but he leaves a number of 646-918-5212, any way he said his name is Jim Brown, one thing about these MF's their presisted, and I also noticed that when you challenge them with questions about their company as well as the number you see on your caller id as the number their calling from they get mad. I told him that he has no right to call and question family and friend about me or tell them I did this or that, He only seem to have the last four digits of my SS and nothing else, he asked my friends who answer my phone about a cell phone number, not one person would give it to him. When I ask him where he's located and that I want informatio in writing about this debt he got very angry and told me to mind my own business, Is that not funny, but he wants to inquire about my business to other people. These people are scam artist, dont voluteer any information to them if they are right or wrong don't voluteer information. They're actually ******, because if you don't give them what they want they get mad and **** up, but the ****** part is they have the nerve to call back a***n the next day. Just keep on asking questions on why they call and the name of the company they are calling from. I keep a phone log of everytime and I tape every message they leave. Because according to the consumer protection laws, no one has the right to harass you like that, even if you may or maynot owe, they don't have the right, you as a consumer have rights, Tell them Don't call you home or job, if they want to talk to you do it in writing, Have the creditor you owe, the amount, and how they came to that amount you owe. They actually should do that within 30 days of the first conversation you have had with them. If they refuse that tell them you need to have their exact address to write the a debt validation letter, but the probem there is they won't give you the exact address to do that. Therefore keep ****ing up on keep arguing with them about your rights, and tell them to mind their businees. I asked for the address and he gave me some fake address located at 101 Greenfield Avenue, New York. As usually no such address. So if they can't be straight with you, than you shouldn't be straight with them. F--- Them.  Sorry!

I got a call from one Rex R White (employee no 80043/D) who has a heavy a middle eastern accent/****stini accent  (not indian accent for sure).  Perhaps there may be multiple guys working in this scam.  He gave the address of 16 highway street, JacksonVille, FL 33110 washington address as 3392 burns code SE wasington DC 20019 with phone number as               727-450-4610       .  The call got dropped less than a minute and he called back a***n and he was more interested in getting PII(Personal identifiable information) than anything else.  I also asked him that he should know everything if he is from government.    he also gave a website www.nationwidegrants.com.  I was looking at the site when speaking on the phone and the website domain is for sale.  The second time the call got disconnected in less than a minute as well.I think this is a TOTAL scam.  Dont fall for it.I think there are multiple guys working this scam.  I even called the number from which i got the call and it says the number you call has been disconnected.  I guess these folks are disguising the number so that the caller id would not trace them as well.  So be careful in this economy folks !!

I received a call from a man who said his name was John Tyler (yeah, right... he didn't 'sound' like a John Tyler.)  He said I had been selected by the US Govt to receive a $5,000 grant.  He didn't get as far as to ask me for my bank account number because I wouldn't even give him my birthday.  I figure if he new my dob, name and address that he could figure out a way to steal my iden***y.  I asked for his call back number, which he gave as 727-450-4610. However, caller ID showed him calling from different area code... 585-919-0331. I asked what agency he represented.  He said he was with "Nationwide Plan"!  LOL! That's part of a cell phone plan! He gave me an address, which I'm sure is bogus too... 16 Highway St, Jacksonville, FL 33110.  Of course, I had to have him spell the street for me, his accent was so heavy.

i got a call from a "Paul Walker" sating the same thing. I defaulted on a payday loan and was being charged with fraud and said i had to appear in court the next day "or else". They said i needed to have my attorney call them back and so i had my friend call them acting on my behalf and basically all they did was **** up on her and tell her not to call and "harrass" them. She said not to worry about it. So anyone getting calls from them at say 5 a.m.(which i did) i say to set your alarm for 4 and call the ****** A#S people back until they answer.

I work for a management co. and have been receiving prank calls from a foreign man calling in on 585-919-0331 for a week now, it begins after 3 in the afternoon and he's called at least 10-20x a day, at times being non-stop. Of course I tried calling the number back to give this **** a peice of my mind but the number comes up as not in service. My boss is 2 steps away from having the police trace the call because it's becoming an issue of harrassment now. This man also sounds of Indian descent.!

Received three calls today from 1 585 919 0331 - when I answered the phone no one was there - call went right to voice mail and left me a message that I or my retained attorney needs to call a Craig Stevens - male voice clearly was Indian and not a Carig Stevens - also said "dont disregard this message"  and wished me good luck if I dont call back at 213 550 4171 - REALLY ANNOYING!!! Can't this be stopped???

This number was on my caller id.  Msg left by a Robert Freeman from united Federal Bank.  He said either I or my retained attorney needed call him back at 510-***-6257 about a time sensitive legal matter.  He said "do not ignore this msg."  "If I don't hear from you or your attorney, I will be forced......"  didn't finish sentence.  He then said "I wish you luck."Call back number was 510-***-6257.  2nd scam within 24 hours.

I got a call from this number but i was asleep and when i woke up i called the number back and it said the number was disconnected !I am really worriedsomeone inform me on what is going on because according to other posts...these guys are scam artist and i don't know how much info they have on meShould i call the cops??someone reply please
