I recently received a call from 436-867-87 saying that I owed for a $350 payday loan which I never took. It was never in my bank account and I never cashed a check. I did look for an on-line payday loan in May but I never accepted any of the offers. He said that the police would be at my home the next day. I was out of town but did not tell him that. I kept telling him I did not take any loan and he would not listen he kept saying the police were coming to get me. Now I am so stressed out I don't know what to do. My friends and family say it is a scam and that he somehow got my info from one of the payday places. I don't want to get into trouble and go to jail, but I honestly did not get any of the money. The guy was agressive and had an english name but a thick Indian accent. What should I do?

I received a call from 436-867-87 stating that they were a law firm and that I would be arrested tomorrow! Stating that I have borrowed money from Cash Advance USA and had not repaid the money. I had received a call approximately a week prior to this from I believe to be the same place stating that I borrowed the sum of $350 on January 27, 2011. I checked my bank account and no amount of any kind was deposited to my account at all in January other than my weekly pay check. So I knew it was a scam. Now they have pushed it too far, threatening to come to my home and arrest me tomorrow at 10am. They rattled off some charges, including check fraud, and a few others that I don't remember. They also quoted Section 9 Chapter 19, which when I researched it appears to be some immigration law! They are somewhat convincing and I am afraid they will get money from somebody that doesn't know any better. They stated that they have my social security number and my bank routing number and checking account number. But they want to confirm the information with me and I refused. If they really put money in my account then the information would not need to be confirmed, the deposit should be confirmation. This is a complete scam and I do not appreciate the constant harassment!

I found and these clowns are White and Case Law Firm, the caller id said 436-867-87 they called, asked for my name and said they where the police, the said my social and I asked for the manager, keep in mind they are foreign accents most likely Indians or from ****stan, the manager Mike told me he is white and case law firm phone 585-331-8616, they are going to arrest me etc..
