I think what they are doing is using some sort of auto dialer. This will generarte random numbers following an area code. The person running this would enter an area code (403) for instance and then the software would generate numbers at random and call them. Providing you answer the phone call, the persons involved now know it's active and a legit phone number and will keep calling it till you **** up on them or actually speak to that girl who you get transfered too. This kind of activity is called Phishing and is a form of Iden***y Theft. This activity is, of course, illegal in Ca***a and the USA however there are different law's governing this depending on where your are located geographically in your respective country/s.You would think that the Telus', Sprint's, Rogers, etc would have so****ing in place to stop this kind of activity but they do not.I called Telus last night and spoke to management about this kind of activity. They told me that I HAD to c****e my phone number (there is no other choice) to avoid this but that there is not 100% that the calls will stop. He informed me that they cannot stop or block a phone number from hitting their network and that this will probably get worse before it gets better.... So, i got a phone call on my business cell. This is strictly a business cell and do not use it for personal use, unless with my wife or close family members. I found it strange that the automated voice said that this was the second time they have called regarding my vehicle warranty nearing its exiry date. I dont own a vehicle that has any manufacturers warranty. Needless to say I ***g up. I am also receiving this call on my home number in Calgary which I do not have in the phone book and is not published anywhere. My wife has also received this exact same call on her Cell Phone. Both of our personal cells are through Telus Mobility. My business cell is alos through Telus but on a business plan of course. Our home phone is IP telephony via Shaw cable out of Calgary as well.

I received a call from this number, 1-******2-3386 on December 31st. On all days! I didn't answer since I don't know that number, but I've searched online for the number and it says it's an Oklahoma number and brought me to their address, name, and zip code as previous comments above me say. I'm in disbelief at how people are scaming other people all over the world and obtain our numbers from God knows where! I'm going to call my phone company about this and hopefully they'll do so****ing about this. I am glad though that there's a website and not only one, but many websites about this scam numbers!

Like inca***a, they called my cell phone number which I only give to friends and family. One of my goofy friends recently gave this number to a Gym so he could get a free bag for the referral. Maybe that's how they found me or they are just going through all the Toronto cell numbers

Recieved a call from this number and same as above happened. I just recently got hoaxed on ebay and I think some how they might be connected. Item was bought from an ebay buyer with 100% positive feedback from several ppl. So I waited and the next day recieved an email from paypal saying the funds where there I justed need to send them the tracking # to have the funds fully credited to my account. I went to the post office shipped the package out to nigeria, came home to send the tracking # it said page not found. So called up paypal turns out the whole thing was a fraud. They hacked into a user account with good feedback, use there name to bid on the item, once they've won it they wait about a day and send you an fake email that appears to be from paypal. This email looks very legit, and convincing. Unfortately I lost the item I had sold because it had already cross over into international territory by the time I found out. Then 2 days after all this happened I get a call from this #. So I would say be very aware.

I have also been getting calls from this same #. I just received my 3rd call and I have not answered any of them as I didn't know the #. They have all been within a week, and I did just try to return the call but found the # to be "disconnected" as well. I do not know how to stop them from calling, but will call my provider to see about blocking them as it is harrassment. There is another 800 # that has called a few times over the past month that I did anser and it was an auto insurance sales scam, so maybe it is a new scam that will die over time but for now it is a pain to be avoiding harrassing calls and wonder how they got my number?!?!

Just another in a long list of junk calls I've received on my cell phones lately. When I place call to this number, I get a voice message that this number is "not a working number". This is a common theme with these calls. A different area code every day, but it's probably from the same source. Somehow these s***bags are "s****ing" the phone system and probably violating federal telecom statutes. I hope they get caught soon! Meanwhile I don't answer my phone anymore unless the call is from someone in my address book. I'm not paying for their scam. Anyone else can just leave a message!

Will repeatedly from different numbers. Any calls back to these numbers will not heed an answer, as you will get a recorded message telling you that this is not actually a number. It obviously is, as you just received a call from them. They are trying to get you to purchase an "extension on your car warranty", considering my car has never been under warranty since I bought it, obviously this is bunk. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! You will never get anything, and money will disappear from your account. Had a friend fall for it.

Update:His phone service is through an cable company called: Pioneer Tel Coop IncI think that he or somebody using his name is trying to run a warranty scam on car owners. This is not the only web page out there dedicated to this number.If somebody who lives in Oklahoma near or in Okeene you would probably do a great service to some older people (who are usually the main targets), if you would report this to your State Police. They can leave me a message if they need me and I can call them back. But this is getting annoying, as I just s****ed getting these types of calls in the past week, never getting them before that. My cell phone was called by this number and left what sounded like a ma****e message. I presume it is some automated ****, but I dont like it. I tried to call back, but it said the number was not there

Called about the warranty expiring...when I pressed one, I got to talk to someone who asked me to verify year, make, and model of my car...I asked what company she was calling from and she immediately ***g up.

Get calls multiple times a week from this number. They sell fraudulent Auto Warranties. This number rang my cell phone and would not identify themselves. The FBI Fraud Hotline now has this number's information and their activities. They should be receiving an unwelcome visit soon.
