I emailed my cell number to a craigslist add for a car. I never give out my number much. They called a day later (this eve). I did not answer.I believe that is what happened. Clearly a scam. They leave a silly message about an auto warranty. The call's final bounce uses a circuit in New Mexico. This is some group that's trying to defraud ****ers either by fooling them into buying some useless, overpriced insurance; or by duping them into giving out their private details, such as credit card, social security, etc. without actually providing any ****py product whatsoever. They may have gotten these phone numbers by buying a list of private info from a hospital employee, civil service worker, or whatever. Don't call them back.
