Robocalling spammers/scammers, probably s****ing the actual phone number too. I'd previously marked the phone number as a scammer and blocked it so it does not ring through. No message.

Similar experience to the others. The back ***ce outfits have found a way to get $ from Medicare for mundane products.

We received a recording for a back ***ce company stating we had requested the call. We had not since everyone has a functioning spine. This is not the first time they have called us. Once the option came to speak with someone, I pressed 1 to be connected. Bear in mind, I've had call center experience and know my verbiage to speak to a supervisor when they say they are one. Supervisors do not make the calls, they monitor them. The man only had our last name and phone number. I asked him for the first name of the person he wished to speak to and his response was the senior one. I advised that he needed to provide me with a name to****ure he would be speaking to the right one. His response was Kasey. There is no Kasey, Casey, Kaysee, etc at this residence and never has been since we built the house and no house existed on the lot prior. His response was why. Seriously, the why is no one lived here but my family. He became very belligerent and rude when I informed him that calling people unsolicited to sell them things is illegal. He kept talking over me and behaving very improper for a call center employee. I asked to speak to his supervisor and his immediate retort was that her was the supervisor. I then asked to speak to someone over him which conveniently there was no one. I then requested to speak to the call center director. Conveniently, he was busy. He was rude, disrespectful and even had the audacity to laugh at me and say I was the rude one. I told him to take my number off the call list and never call back. He said I cannot tell him what to do. Ultimately, he ***g up on me which is funny since I know that is also not a legitimate business practice by call centers. Good riddance, Senior Center Hotline and Marcus Gonzales. Don't call back.

We get fewer and fewer calls form overseas cell phones; nearly everything is from call centers. They s****ed phone numbers from disconnected numbers, but often the number has been reassigned and call centers are still using it. I helped break up the scam ring in Colorado. I report to my own attorney general state office; they pass leads onto the federal authorities. The call centers used to operate legitimately; then 'do not call' and laws making robocalls illegal put them out of business. (I'm guessing.) Read these complaints; piece together whatever you can and get the form from your state department of consumer protection (the attorney general's office). And get a call blocker. I just look at ours once in a while to see repeated calls and then post them. We block everything with 97#* on our Digitone call blocker. Both my wife and I work with many non-profits and get too many calls to screen them with an answering ma****e.
