Called looking for me by name, transferred me to another person, wanted me to verify my birthdate. When I refused to give them my info until they told me the “personal business matter” they wouldn’t give me info so I told them to take me off the caller list.

They hung up when I said that the person they asked for was unavailable. I called them back and the person that answered stated it was a home loan company (I couldn't understand the name of the company). I said to put my number on their do not call list and the person said that he would do so

I DO NOT answer calls from unknown numbers, but keep a record of Caller ID info, date, time, name (if shown) and voice message (if left), and when a caller does not leave a message, I assume it is a Scam call. This call did not leave a message. If they call more than once, I BLOCK.
