Just to add a little info (I'm also a debt collector)...Under the FDCPA, the collectors are held personally responsible for any violations of the law. In other words, you have the right to file a complaint/claim a***nst the company AND the caller herself.I used to work with a girl who tiptoed on the edge of the law until someone who knew their rights filed charges a***nst her. She not only lost her job, she got nailed with a $1000 judgement a***nst her. I think that taught her a lesson...

this number calls me frequently asking for "jody ***nt" as do many collection agencies. no such person lives at my address and this phone number has been mine for over 17 years and i have been receiving calls for "jody" for around 6. despite my attempts to explain there is no such person at this residence they persist that she does. i have tired to be calm and professional however it doesn't work. everyone who has called for jody has been rude and have sometimes even made threats a***nst me and my property. i had one caller threaten to come to my residence kick in my door and reposes the alleged items that were never paid for my jody. i told him to bring his gun because he will need it. that sent him packing. i wish it was that simple for all the callers. recently ******1011 called me at 11:43PM and yelled crude and and offensive language into my answering ma****e. it sounded like a group of young men who were inebriated. my family heard the message and i was furious. i attempted to call ******1011 back but received a busy signal. i do not know who this "jody ***nt" is and i can say for her sake that is a good thing. i have a vicious attorney and i would LOVE to press criminal charges. the only problem is would be finding "jody ***nt".

AND im pretty sure the calls are recorded because its a collections agency, and she never let me know that the call was recorded. violation 2!im a debt collector, just went through training a***n. learned all the laws, regulations, and everything. so i knew exactly how im supposed to get treated. you people have rights. look up the FAIR DEBT COLLECTIONS PRACTICES ACTthats all you need.

I keep receiving calls from this company about an unpaid hospital bill. I called the hospital directly and was told it was not processed correctly through my insurance company. It has been resubmitted. I keep getting calls from the collection agency because obviously this information is not being forwarded. The caller today, a Renee Robinson, was extremely rude when I asked for her number to call back. I was in my office with a client and could not talk so I was forced to **** up. This is not an effective way to resolve an unpaid debt. This cons***utes harrassment.

This company is paid if the people called pay the supposed bill in question. You have rights...they are not allowed to call if you write to them and tell them to cease, they are not allowed to call when you are sleeping or if you tell them not to. They don't care if they are representing crooks who are overbilling you for money you should not have to pay... all they care about is that you pay and then they get 20 percent of your debt. Lousy way to handle credit.
