Answered it was a credit card phishing scam. Told me because I made regular payments they were going to give me a better rate. All they needed was the expiry if my visa. Said I didn't have one. Then said master card sorry. I asked what company he was referring to and then he ***g up on me.

Text message claiming to be Fifth Third Bank alert. "Your debit card has been locked. Call this number to unlock it." I'm not even a 5th 3rd customer, i talked to the people at 5th 3rd and they said they've had several complaints about this particular scam.

Got a call from 999 222 5052, said he was Bell..But it could be a scam, was selling a Bell package and then asked for credit info.. When I said I didn't want to give him that info, he then directed me to this 519 number.
