I received a call from a man impersonating an attorney, threatening to file a law suit with my wife for a previous debt that is being handled by a credit repair company. I asked him if he was an attorney and he finally said no but he worked for an attorney named James Scully. I called the number back after a heated discussion when he would not give his name stating they were harrasing me. I finally got through to who stated he was James Scully after being passed around and he stated no one should be rude or unruly in their calls. I referenced the information in the previous blog about contacting the New York State Bar with complaints or the New York FBI. I never got a call back.
