I was scammed , unfortunately I fell for it 400.00 . Trying to sell me a washer and dryer . He needs to be stopped !!!! Craigslist San Antonio

Presson wanted to sell us a washer and dryer on Craig’s list for $500 plus $30 to deliver. He wanted half up front used his supposed wife as reason. Before sending anything we checked on line and saw this webpage providing indication of the scam. Thanks to all that contributed!!! We didn’t lose anything.

Same thing, selling a couch for delivery wanted 1/2 up front, same stories as above. I did not google before hand, I should have. I will report this.

Started as a Craigslist add about a $400 couch. Had a heads up from a friend who had been burned by this individual so I knew this was a spammer from the start. Led them along for over 10hrs and at the end he had me going to a bitcoin atm to make a deposit before delivery. Even talked on the phone and got the same Texas ID he gives to everyone. Truly a poor human. Phone # used was +1 512-798-4242

Was selling a fridge on Craigslist in Austin. Said he would send ID but his wife wanted 1/2 as a deposit. Said his address for pick up is 1720 Fallen Leaf Ln Round Rock Which comes back to 3 names: Reza Salimian, Parisa atai, and tehereh eshavarz rahbar Don’t trust them. Used fake number (512)598-1190 and wanted half the money upfront. Would only do cashapp or bitcoin. Once money was sent, we got ghosted.

Selling a treadmill, wanted me to give him a deposit and he offered to deliver.

Trying to purchase a washer/dryer set and was offering to deliver. Using phone number 214-600-7423. Offered to deliver and I said no to getting delivery. Read other complaints here and cut contact. Thank You for being here!

Austin, Texas - Craiglist scammer, selling a $400 LG fridge, gave a fake address, tried to extract a deposit for him to hold the item, and offered to send me a picture of his Texas driver's license. I didn't take the bait and had no further contact.

Craigslist scammer. Has this number to text, says he has an LG refrigerator and washer & dryer. Offers to deliver but then says his wife wants 50& down to deliver. I don't give money to people I don't know so said we'd pick it up. Gave me a fake address then never answered another text.

Was selling a Crate & Barrell sectional and Ashley bedroom set for $400 each and a $25 delivery fee. Wanted 1/2 upfront then the rest at delivery. I asked for a pic of his DL for verification and did a look up, this came up.

Craigslist scammer. I foolishly sent via bitcoin for payment for a treadmill and immediately was ghosted. Do not fall for this guys bs! Uses 512 numbers via fake number app then deletes number once money is received

His address is: 1286 FM 193, Afton, TX 79220 if anyone wants to go say hi to him in person. he used phone number 512-817-0012. I just tried to call and it is now out of service. he's got a smooth game going.....I fell for it all.

maybe 512-817-0012 and 512-546-7222 and 512-957-7105 related. Seemed suspect, latter communications maneuvered to (wife wants) partial pre-payment, pre-delivery. Offered ID by text as if to bolster their trustworthiness, compared to pre-payment request as if they wished to confirm our trustworthiness. The irony was it turned to a who would be ripped off contemplative stand-off. Suspicious.

When you say you can come over and pick it up yourself or that you need to see it first before you can give money to "reserve it" he ghosts you. I know you're reading this Phillip. Nice try but no dice.

Sent me a QR code and wanted me to use it to deposit into an ATM at a gas station. He sent picture of him holding his ID. Seemed fishy & told him I wanted to meet in person to give him money, then he ghosted me.

He said he was on his way with the fridge but then ghosted me.
