The company is MSB and they do collect for court systems across the country. I believe the bulk of there calls are in regards to photo radar and camera s***d traps. These obviously come from our home cities or cities that we have visited over the years. The prosectuing jurisdiction researches your home address, through your license plate information, and sends you out a ticket. If you throw it away, have moved or have never recieved it, they still consider it an active ticket that needs to either paid or a non guilty plea/court date set up. After a set time period, the court systems considers it unpaid and forwards it to collections (i.e. MSB). MSB hounds you forever until it is paid, since they get a nice cut out of the deal.My question is, how badly does an unpaid collection (ticket)of $100-400 effect your credit score? I would****ume that everyone that has recieved this call and not settled, has taken a hit on their credit score. Is that correct?

They are legit, but they don't communicate with agencies to verify if things are cleared or not. The are well known in the state of TX, and do work for most muni****lities, counties, and even the state it self. They also run the new driver surcharge program, which is the biggest joke ever.

Here is the best advice anyone can give regarding this company. Verify with your local court first. Then work only with them. Also for future referencehttp://www.fbi.gov/majcases/fraud/fraudschemes.htmThat will help you avoid being defrauded and possible jail time from failure to pay fines when you pay these s***bags.

They call and call. They told me I had "an important court matter". I called them, then I called the city. I thought I had taken care of the matter, but I did have an outstanding ticket. The problem is, MSB will tell you the charge is more than what you actually owe. They tried to scam me out of over $100 dollars of what I actually owed. I paid them what the city says I owe and they still keep calling. I told them that it is not a bill for service so they are not going to collect interest or late fees. They already got that with court fees. The operators you speak to are the rudest and think they know the law. Every time I made a legal comment they would remain quiet because they did not know the answer or how to rebute my comment without being a lie. After all, they do record the calls.
