I have told them in the past a) not to call anymore, and b) that I didn't have anything to donate...but they KEEP calling at strange times (very early and very late). I finally got so frustrated that I phoned them back, but (naturally) no one answered. I tried to call a***n today (after they called at 8:00 a.m.)--the number on the caller ID was (512) 443-8389 (and my caller ID also identifies them as "Clothing Donate." I'm getting really sick of this. I just called the (888) 880-4242 number, and asked the woman who answered (what a surprise! Someone answered!) if she would remove my number from their calling list. I guess they don't have caller ID, because she asked for my number. She also asked for my zip code (?), and when I asked why, she said they couldn't remove my number without knowing my zip code, because they call in "zip-code batches." The good news is that she didn't ask for anything else, and she did say that she would remove me from their list. I hope this works.

Ok these people keep calling us over and over. I have told them many times that we have nothing to donate and have asked them to stop calling but they keep calling back over and over. They say that they are a charity but they are NOT! The get stuff donated and then they SELL it to others. That is not a charity in my book of goodness. Plus they call very late at night when we are trying to sleep and that is just ******. At least we have caller ID and know when they call not to answer but they are certainly annoying!

They call me as often as five times per week. I have asked and asked to be taken off the list, to no avail. Furthermore, I have called the numbers back for three nights, and it rings on and on. I am relentless, but with crooks you have to be.Here is what we should all do:FILE A REPORT WITH THE AUSTIN AMERICAN STATESMAN AND ALSO WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE. THEY ARE CROOKS!

Called me. I asked to be removed. Said I had to call a number (my wife has been asked to be removed but she was told they would do it). I said by law I can just tell her. She says not by "our law." I said you are governed by the federal laws as any other organization and I don't have to call some other number. She just ***g up on me!

They must be a scam as we live in the San Antonio area and we get calls daily from Clothing Donate. I am really sick of these calls. They have used at least 5 different numbers in the past week to call. If they were legit then they would not have so many numbers and those numbers would not be different than the ones they used last month!
(512) 443-1161 - May 13th, 2009 4:00am
many, many calls at all hours ramping up a lot the last few months. I did a BBB search and the company name comes up as Texas Paralyzed Veterans on Oltorf- a charity. This is why I probably still get the calls even though I am on the do not call registry. i will try the 800 number listed earlier.PS- no complaints were registered with the BBB on them!

Thanks for the 1-888-880-4242 number Alicia suggested. I got an answer, and after giving my phone number and zip code, I was told my number had been removed from the list. It still remains to be seen (I'd gotten a number and called it before to no avail), but there's hope!
(512) 443-1161 - July 18th, 2009 4:00am
I just called this number:1-888-880-4242they said they would remove me, we shall see...

The annoying group "Clothing donate" or whatever it really is, continues to bother my household. I frequently see their number displayed on my caller Id and its getting very frustrating because I'm experiencing the continued nuisance. Whenever they call, the last four digits of the number are not the same as the previous time. If anyone out there could please offer some advice to prevent them and their annoying soliciting calls, I and many others would be very thankful.Recent 'Clothing Donate' caller ID records : DATE | TIME | NUMBER ---------------------------8/02 - 10:09 AM - 443-18907/31 - 4:06 PM - 443-06147/29 - 5:05 PM - 443-25***/29 - 10:06 AM - 443-38997/28 - 6:48 PM - 443-1536As you can notice from the above do***entation this group prefers to call during evening hours and early in the morning. I'm considering filing a harassment charge a***nst this group once I find out who the perpetrators are because this nonsense has been occurring continually for at least one year. The above info is just a slight glimpse of their annoying call tactics.

Clothing Donate continues to call me regardless of how many times I've asked them to quit. The last time, the caller told me she couldn't do it but wanted to give me a number so I could call and do it myself. I was so annoyed that I told her she worked for the company and that she could call the number and take care of it! These calls interrupt my business and are a nuisance! I can't imagine why they would ever think I'd donate anything to their organization (if that's what it truly is) after asking them over and over to stop calling! Kind of ****** isn't it!Also, this last call is the first time there was a number on my caller ID. Normally it shows up as unknown. If they are legitimate, they need a legitimate number!

I've had 3 recent calls in the last several days. The first two I ignored because I didn't recognize the number. Just a short time ago (5 pm) I answered and they mentioned so****ing about donating clothing. I asked that they take me off the list as they wakened me from a nap taken because of illness. The lady on the other end said she couldn't do that but gave me a 512-466-4*** number to call to get the number removed. I tried that and got a message sayingtheir voice mailbox had not been set up yet. Is this a mear attempt to find out if no one is home, or what????? My husband found several others had put input on the internet to verify the supposed company name!!!
(512) 443-1161 - December 11th, 2008 5:00am
They are from a company called "Merchandise Collection" and by calling 1-888-880-4242, I got the following info: The "manager's name" is Crystal Young. Ms. Young suggests their address is on South Congress, supposedly, though reverse look-up has them listed at 322 E. Oltorf. I have called 311 and reported them to the non-emergency police line. Truly we all need to do this to get the police attention. The woman would not give me an address, any names, or even their Tax ID number - which EVERY non-profit needs to provide. Their receipts list no address nor tax-ID number. It has got to be a scam, because if it were legit, they would not be so aggressive. Don't chicken out; call 311 and get the police attention.

I've received this call several times, each time I've asked them to remove my number when they didn't **** up on me, but they continue to call. I'm filing a complaint with the FCC and the donotcall.gov (even though I know charity calls are allowed) so that hopefully they get the message that I don't want them calling anymore.
(512) 443-1161 - September 16th, 2008 4:00am
The lady gave me the number 1-888-880-4242 to call to ask to be removed. I just called and told them I wanted to be removed from their call list, gave them my number and they said ok. It was pretty easy. They do call at pretty inconvenient times, but I've never had anyone be rude to me.
(512) 443-1161 - September 6th, 2008 4:00am
I called them back. Over and over and over...I really ****ed this lady off....everytime she tried to dial a number, she couldn't, because I didn't **** up...hahahaha...Really ticked her off. Felt great. So, if they keep calling, call them back.
(512) 443-1161 - December 30th, 2008 5:00am
Annoying & relentless calling - there is never anyone on the line when I pick up. I've gotten to the point that I do answer their calls.
(512) 443-1161 - September 11th, 2008 4:00am
Same story, they wake me up almost every morning, make me run to the phone at least twice a day for years now.
(512) 443-1161 - September 25th, 2008 4:00am
Multiple calls, from multiple numbers, to the point that my call blocking list is full - of just numbers from this organization!!
(512) 443-1161 - June 25th, 2008 4:00am
Same story as everyone else. They won't stop calling. They call at 8am when I'm still sleeping, then **** up on me.
