When the number was called back, it played a recorded message representing itself as the Federal Do-Not-Call Registry, and requesting callers to enter their phone numbers to be included in the Registry! Clearly, not only a spammer, but one which has no compunction about fraudulent misrepresentation. Do not answer calls from this number, and whatever you do, don’t enter any phone numbers if you call it back!

Called my cell & won't leave a message. Ever since I entered my number along with all the rest on the DNC list, I've been getting calls like this so I'm convinced that's where they got my number. Apparently they believe they won't get caught. Everyone needs to s**** reporting them to the FCC/FTC. They launch investigations based on complaint volume.

Get a call from this number on my cell phone. When I answer all I hear is a "fax tone". **** up. Minutes later get a call from "Unknown", same fax tone. Minutes later, another call, listed as "Private", same fax tone. This happens about once a week. A true pain in the answer!!!
