I just got a call that showed up as KENTUCKY 554-9301 and it was my daughter calling from Spain on her new cellphone using a Spanish SIM card. The last 2 times she had called it registered as UNKNOWN, so this is very curious, since she does have a 502 number****ociated with her phone, and this is not the same one.

Received call at work - caller ID just said "Kentucky" (their 502 is the area code for Louisville, where I am). They've called daily for over a month, so finally out of curiosity I picked up. VERY thick Indian/south asian accent. Male caller knew my first name without being prompted, and "just wanted to confirm my job ***le" (which he also knew without being prompted). I "think" he said his name was Kevin (maybe Calvin?). After several attempts at having him repeat who he was with, I believe he said "RIN Solutions". It may have been "Orion" or RLN or RIM or... well, who knows. His English was horrible and he was definitely working from a script. Kept repeating the same things over and over a***n when I tried to clarify who he was. Evidently he isn't supposed to **** up unless I say goodbye or **** up first. Keeping him on the line got him seriously f****ered, until he finally just ***g up. Call received approx 10:25AM Thursday, November 18th, 2010.Another note: the exact job ***le he used for me I have only put on Facebook - it is not on my business cards or any other site that I know of. Despite that being in my "private" profile only, they may be using Facebook as a way to ***n targets. Possibly datamined during Facebook's "we're setting everybody to share by default" period? I may have had my job ***le public at some point in the past, but I'm pretty certain my phone numbers were always private. This number was reported earlier in the year as being used in an attempted scam to the Louisville Metro Police Department. See http://datacenter.courier-journal.com/crime/case/8010041260 for details on one such case.

I have a very dear friend who I believed is being scammed and this number is involved. My friend has been sending sizable monthly funds to two "students" from Ghana. Being the sincere Christian she is, she's been sending money for what she's been told are clothes, books, tuition, doctor's bills, food, etc., anything that will solicit sympathy from her. They've called her several times and the call appears to be from Ghana (international codes, country codes, etc.) Lately, however, she's been su****ious and reluctant to answer the phone when they call. After not answering the international calls for awhile (as many as 10-12 calls in a single afternoon), she's gotten calls from THIS Louisville, KY number only to find her friends in GHANA on the other end of the line. I find this a little unnerving since she also lives in Louisville, KY. I know there are ways of calls being transferred from local numbers to international numbers and vice versa. Is there any way of stopping it? Personally, I'm concerned for my friend's safety.

I got a call from this number today. The person calling had my name and identified himself as James from Med so****ing or other, asking if I'd *****d my bloodsugar. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about and he said the same thing, also mentioning so****ing about diabetes. I said he must have the wrong number and he quickly ***g up. I went online with the phone number and found out the call was from Louisville, Kentucky. I couldn't get any more info without paying, so I came here. I hope you find out who this person is.
