This number calls me on a daily basis, sometimes to get me to purchase a magazine subscription by saying I've been selected to win a free prize, other times it's just static. But today, it called and I answered (if only to vent my frustration by yelling at some unfortunate company underling) to someone talking about my current magazine subscriptions. Now this was the first reasonable call I've received so I thought I'd listen. First they say that they just want to confirm your address and make sure your magazines are coming in on time. Then they say that you have signed up for a subscription and that they can lower the price. Cool right? Except my subscription is payed in cash each year and this lady wants me to confim the credit card on file. Not cool. I tell her (realizing that this is a scam) to cancel my account and she says that the billing date is tomorrow and that I'm past the cancellation date. I am urged to give her my credit card info now so that she can lower the price by tomorrows fic***ious billing date. Ridiculous. BOTTOM LINE: DON'T FALL FOR THIS ****.

When I answer the phone, they tell me they are calling long distance and that I have been chosen for a magazine subscription. When I tell them to stop calling e they **** up and then call back within 2 hours. They need to STOP!

This is a scam service, parading as a magazine publisher which are trying to get you to give them a credit card so they can take money out of your account. They are foolish as they only know enough about you to sound like you have been a customer of theirs, but can not answer specificates to indicate they really know who you are. At first some mousy girl will talk to you and get you to name your bank, then suddenly she will hand you over to her "boss" who explains the details of their scam and says to confirm the deal he needs your debit card beginning with 4 or 5 from the bank the girl wrote down while talking to you at the s**** of the call, but he will not be able to tell you anymore of the card info to confirm he has any such data. Always stating false anti-fraud claims. And stating they are doing this for Visa and Mastercard. Trully a scam.

They are trying to make me pay $1,550 for a five year subscription that I supposedly agreed to on the magazine website because I took a promotion. may I remind you there are 60 months in 5 years and this magazine costs $4.25 on the stand. They said I had already agreed to pay this when I signed up for the promotion but why would I agree to pay $1,500 when I could buy this same magazine every month for $4.25 and end up paying $255 at the end of 5 years? I don't really know what to do, they have my credit card and personal information, help!!!

I s****ed receiving magazine telemarkets ever since I checked out a website called funwebprofits.com From there, I said no to Alternate Funding adverti*****t which overlayed. I cancelled my "free trial" offers from Netflix and Eyepotheses" the next day from funwebprofits.com. I still get tons of telemarketer calls to my cell and Alternate Funding tries to charge my credit card monthly which I have a complaint on them. It's a spider web of "we won't share your info" bogusness.

I told him I wasn't there and asked if I could take a message but he wouldn't leave one. It was really loud in the background like a brokerage firm or the NYSE or so****ing. They said they were calling from Florida and the funny thing is when I ordered my magazine they were calling from San Luis Obispo in California. I think it's a rip off scheme - don't fall for it.

This number calls several times a day. As early as 8am and as late as 9:30pm. If you call back, you can request to have your number removed from the calling list but, it NEVER gets removed, they just keep calling!
