I know telemarketers can be pretty annoying. If you just take the time to hear what it is their offering you may be pleasantly surprised. The packages they have are a really great way to get away to one of several destinations all over the U.S. and the company is legite. I was very pleased with the package they offered to me. Everyone has to work. The phone sales reps are just trying to earn an honest living. I think the hemorrhoids comment was very unfair. Their doing as their employers ask of them just as you do yours. Next time you get a call from a telemarketer why don't you thank them for not sopping up all of your hard earned tax money by sponging off the goveronment. It's a positive way to look at it.

I signed up for some giveaway at Bass Pro last year (2007) but the signup sheet had fine print that said you'd get a call from a company with vacation deals or so****ing like that. That's why I'm getting the calls. Maybe the fine print didn't used to be on the forms or maybe it was on the back. The calls are really obnoxious, and I'm going to answer next time and ask that they take me off their list. I've flat out told them no before so they stop calling for several months but then they s**** back in.

Called today. My husband filled out a boat giveaway at Bass Pro Shop in San Antonio over ***her's Day weekend. We are on the Do Not Call List, however, an attorney friend I spoke with this evening said that since we "willingly gave our phone number to the company involved" they are not obligated to follow our request. He claims we need to tell the company directly "put me on your do not call list", get the name and employee ID(very important) of the person we spoke to and then notify the Consumer Affairs office if we are contacted a***n. What a bunch of **** for some ****** boat contest!Does anyone even win those things???

Walrus - be sure the fax you send is a solid black piece of paper!Telemarketers should all get hemorrhoids.I have already put this number into my caller ID as "Do Not Answer". If they wish to waste their time not talking to my voice mail, more power to them. I'm glad they don't leave a message. Then I don't have to expend the effort to go delete it.

Filled out the form at Bass Pro Shops in Concord, NC to win a boat. That's my mistake. I don't live anywhere near there and was just passing trhu. Now this number has called many times over the last 6 months and never left a message or spoke when I asnwered. What a bunch of ***** wasters.

i asked if they were going to sell my number to a marketing agency, and they told me no. I'm very upset with the dishonesty of this "reputable" company. take me off the call list. i am registered on the do not call registry.

I've had numerous calls from them. Now I'm complaining with my wallet. Tomorrow I call Bass Pro Shops and tell them they have just lost a (really good) customer. Permanently.
