To everyone who thinks this is the Republican party, of course it's not! If you call the phone number back, you get a message saying it's owned by "PCC - Political Call Center". I've gotten calls from them where they don't answer (because it's an auto-dialing system, obviously) or they s**** asking questions and I tell them (in respectful tone and language) that I'm irritated by their constant calls, and they rudely **** up on me. They have identified themselves as calling from the Republic National Committee and some Pro-Life group. Obviously they're not actually either one, and I would doubt if they're even contracted by them. More likely, it's another group that is trying to **** people off so they'll vote a***nst these groups, which seems to be working, based on the comments I've read here. Don't play into their hands. Just ignore them. Or, better yet, I like the airhorn idea. If you deafen enough of their rude employees, they'll eventually have to shut down! (LOL!!!)

caller id says "Political Call" it's 02/04/09 I thought those annoying political calls were done with! When you call back it rings for a while and finally says it is a Nonprofit Political Company. If you call back you can leave your name and number to be put on their do not call list, takes up to 5 days.

They use so****ing called a "predictive dialer". Basically a computer calls you and immediately puts you on hold while a recording tells you that this is an important call and to stay on the line. Calls that jusr ring unanswered or which reach busy signals or out-of-service tones are dropped without ever being handled by a human being. Once the ma****e knows your phone has been answered, the call is sent to a queue and the next available person picks it up. This****ures the telemarketer/survey company/political campaign that their volunteers/minimum wage caller center monkeys aren't wasting *their* precious time listening to ringing phones, busy signals and phone company error messages. *Your* time is less valuable to these people. These systems also recognize the typical "beeps" used to prompt callers to leave a message, so a few seconds after hearing one of those they will drop the call - hence those short, silent messages.

These people scammed a donation from me last year by misrepresenting who they were. Now they're calling a***n, and my husband almost got taken. It took me a week of online research to find out exactly who they are. Do not donate. They misuse funds and are under investigation (at least as of last year). They're not a resource for pregnant women; they're a political action committee (PAC). At least be up front about who you are, liars. But no, they're not the Republican party.

voicemail says it is PCC - a political call center for non-profit federal politiical action committees to connect them with voters. They will put you on a DNC list even though they are not required to. (DNC rules do not apply to political calls.)
