I got a call from this number, I answered and they said I had registered for a royal Caribbean vacation promotion and to hold for a representative. We are cruising in 3 weeks, so I had the cruise on the ***in and I held as instructed. When someone answered, he just asked my name and I gave it to him and he immediately ***g up. I'm guessing it's some sort of phishing effort, or maybe a cover for a debt collector looking for people who owe money. My phone number was previously "owned" by someone with really bad credit from what I can tell.

told me I had entered a contest for a Carribbean trip - which I had not entered - then gave me a choice of talking to a representative or hitting 2 to disconnect and be removed from their call list. Of course, I hit 2. They are using telephone numbers from the national do not call list.

Just fill out a form at the FCC to report this scammer telemarketers. http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm Takes about 2 minutes, if enough people report them, they'll get a fine and hopefully **** down. Call is from scamming telemarketers saying that I won a free cruise after I entered their drawing (never have), and just pay taxes!
