I was voluntarily texting after connecting on a dating app. Quickly seemed to good to be real and other red flags. I requested we meet and he got panicky. I'd searched his phone number before but found nothing which is fishy in itself. I tried one more time before accepting a phone call from him and found a result on an app that indicated he's been catfishing on dating apps before and owner of the number is not the name used on dating app (Robert). Blocked him on app, called him by the other name in text asking him to stop contacting me. He actually replied to the other name (Peter) for 3 texts before he corrected me. I've blocked him.
