Caller identified herself as a Farmer's Insurance rep. wanting to offer a lower insurance rate. She wanted to confirm that I was the correct person that she was calling. She confirmed my physical address. She asked for personal information in order to proceed. I questioned why she would need that information because for one of the questions regarding my phone number, she already knew this since she called me... I let her know that I did not feel comfortable giving her any personal information that should not be needed for her to give a quote since it seemed that she already had information regarding my owning a home and car... She said nothing as I ***g up. I tried calling the number to verify that it was an insurance company representative. The phone number rings and rings with no identifying answering ma****e message or person to answer the line, day or night.
