Don't know if it's true or not, but I read that pressing 1 just reverses the charges, so YOU get billed for the call, instead of them! I wouldn't press anything, just don't answer, or if you already did answer, just **** up. Normally accepted standards of politeness don't apply with these people, so just hand up!
(425) 390-8123 - January 12th, 2012 1:34am
Sorry 'bout the typo... last line should say "**** up", not "hand up".

NEW Company is the contract "service provider" for DirectTV. When you call because your dish malfunctions, this is who you get. Probably have some blitz on to sell more channel options. BUT, on another topic, to all you who think some gov't agency is going to stop the spam scammers, think a***n. On the DNC website is a link for "businesses" to request a list of the numbers they aren't supposed to call. All the scammers have to do is request it, and that gov't agency will SEND THEM YOUR NUMBER! I foolishly listed my 3 phones on the DNC this past summer, and have NEVER gotten anywhere near the volume of scam calls that I've gotten since I listed my numbers. Personally, I highly recommend that ***ODY -- who hasn't already done so -- should list their number(s) on the DNC!
