I've been screening my calls through my answering ma****e since I just put both my home and cell phone numbers on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Seems to me that once you sign up on DNCL they of course put you on a list, duh, then these JOKERS have 31 days to call you before the law goes into affect. Guess I'll have to put up with this until my 31 days are up. Been getting calls from all over the country since I listed my numbers on DO NOT CALL LIST. Geez, what is this world coming to?!
(417) 708-9170
I received a call from "Missouri Call" at (417) 708-9170 that was a telemarketing sales call to sign up for Wyndham Resorts getaway promotion. The cost was $169. I explained to Breanna that I was interested, but not this year. Maybe next year we would take a vacation and stop by the Smokey Mountain Tennessee Wyndham Resort location to check it out. The 4 day vacation would just include a two (2) hour marketing presentation. A manager named Travis Herbert claimed I could get a $75 debit card if I signed up today over the phone. Then the price became $159 with a special employee manager's discount. After 20 minutes on the phone, the so called manager became agitated and rude. The high pressure sales tactics were way out of hand! I ended the call, but not before "Travis" claimed that I could verify this wasn't a scam by checking online. Well... I DID check online and found MANY complaints about the sales tactics and marketing. Most complaints tell of being lied to by salespeople or being scammed. Lesson learned - don't answer out of state sales calls from (417) area code!!
