I live in California and don't know anyone in Toronto or Ontario for that matter. This came up as a missed call at 3:20 pm on 09/29/2011. I have no idea who it's from and I really don't care. Interesting there are so many comments about this one number. I'd guess the one positive review about the prospective land purchase is a fake review. Just my opinion.

I wanted to know who the heck called me from a 416 number (416-589-0379), realizing that the area code is TO and I'm in BC. Turns out that you have to pay to find out the name attached to it and even then there's no guarantee there is a real name. Anyway, I've tried several sites to find out more and came across one disturbing note beside the number in the Yellow Pages Reverse look up since it tells me this is a Land line, not a cell. The note beside this number reads: Find out who is calling you from 1-416-589-0379. This is the place to find out who 416 ... - jobs for $5, she needed to buy some good *****, lots of ***** in Toronto http://www.callferret.com/416 ...html. Who would have thought you can advertise for ***** openly on the web and yellow pages.ca This is not an innocent number! despite some of you saying it was nothing. I am reporting it to the police so hopefully no one else will be bothered. The sheer number of bad calls should tell you it's not legitimate. I don't answer voice calls because I'm deaf and therefore unable to address if anyone actually said anything but the number stays in my cell's call history. My advice, don't answer calls whose number you don't recognize!!! Who knows what info can be gleaned while you're on that call without your awareness?

I too got a call today from that number, i have some items forsle on the Net and left my cell# on this fella's email that replyed to one of my items, and he called me back and i asked why the 416, when he was in the 613 area, and he said bcus he has no long distance on his cellphone, that it is cheaper to use a CALLING CARD then his cell to make long distance call's... He was not ********ting bcus he asked if i had free long distance , ''and i do'' to call him back instead so tat he could save his minutes.. and it was all legite , we made the deal, and in the end everyone was happy/.......So, if u get a call from this number, ANSWER IT. it could be somone u kno in either trouble or just calling to say HI:))oh btw..******, looks like ur getting it up the ***HOLE...AHAHAHAHA......

I just got 3 calls from this idiot number. I'm in BC. It's an Ontario number... phoned me right in the **** morning, and then twice around 8:30. I answered the latter one, without saying anything... just to hear what was on the other end. There wasn't anything, until like 30 seconds and then there was a voice that said "Hello?". And that was that. F*cking annoying. I'd love to take a powerdrill to their eye*****.

A gentleman by the name of Carl phoned me from 416-589-0379 on 21 June 2010 inquiring about some property we own in Edmonton, Alberta, so we agreed to show it to him the next day, for his interest and possible purchase. The next day, he phoned a***n from the same phone number, just to confirm the appointment. Carl was on time and he received a guided tour of the property.
