******PLEASE READ****** I have done A LOT of research on this!!! As all of you are, I am sick of being called by this number. So let's put an end to it. You have options. 1.) File a complaint with your state's Attorney General's office 2.) File a complaint with your state's Public Utilities Commission 3.) File a complaint with the FCC at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx (though first two options are more diligent about handling these things) 4.) Call the carrier. Here is where my investigating led me. The reverse number lookup says it is owned by MCI Worldcom. That lead me to New Cingular Wireless, which is AT&T. That led me to Tracfone, which is where it ends for now. Tracfone admits that it is one of their phones, BUT they said the phone was bought in December 2011 with 20 minutes, and no more minutes have been added. So it's obvious they're just using the number as a front, since you can't even call the number back. The account is "inactive." But I'll bet if enough people bug Tracfone with phone calls about this issue, they will make contact with the owner. They gave me a number to their "manager department" so have at it! 866-234-4357. And their regular customer service number is 800-867-7183. 5.) Lastly, if you're like me, just have some fun with them. Waste their time with fake information. If you follow along with them, they want your credit card number and last four of SSN. That tells me they are bad news.

They called me a***n. I recognized the number as the scammers, so finally I decided to have some fun since they **** up on me every time I ask to get taken off the list. I told him I was interested in lowering my interest rate, and he asked for my personal information which I made up on the fly. He began to catch on after I gave my fake address "123 Sesame Street" and I proceeded to tell him I had traced his call and would be visting his house later that evening. I then used some very colorful descriptions of what I was going to make him stop calling me, which is likely too ****** to describe here. He ***g up on me, but they will regret calling me from now on because I am coming up with new material to use every time :)

Just got ANOTHER call from this number. I am on the Do Not Call list. I tried to explain to the gentleman KEITH that answered that I went through this two months ago and asked to be removed. I told him they are calling a cell phone that is connected to the Do Not Call registry and as soon as those words came out HE ***G UP ON ME!! They call offering a lower interest rate, if they were legit, they would let someone finish what they have to say and they wouldnt **** up. HOW can I stop them from calling me when CLEARLY they do not adhere to the same calling guidelines as other companies? Also, how when you call back the line gives a recording of "The person you are trying to reach is not receiving incoming calls at this time"?

Just dont answer. I never answer unidentified calls or calls that come thru that are not in my list of contacts. That is one of the nice things about voicemail, people. Take control. If they must talk to you they will leave a message. But most of these numbers, if they do not get hold of you they will remove you from the list so as to get hold of a "live" one. For those of you who just HAVE to answer a ringing phone for some reason, just dont say anything until they do. Most of the spammers wont speak first, they wait for you to say*****o. Ive never gotten a call back from any of these numbers if it goes to voicemail or you just dont speak.

Have received dozens of these calls over the last few weeks on my cell, each time from a different #, so it can't be blocked. This is an MCI/Tracphone #. The guy buys these in small blocks and uses them up, then moves on, so the numbers can't be blocked. I found a # the the Tracphone management office and called them (866-234-4357). I told the woman that I'm receiving the same robocall from "Rachel" several times a day, each time with a different Tracphone number, so its impossible to block it. She said there was nothing she could do about it. I asked her if they s****ed getting dozens of calls a day about this guy if they might do so****ing then. She wasn't sure. Lets find out. got call on cell from 407-702-0538, pressed #1 as instructed. Lady named "Ihana" answered and asked if I pressed #1 to get a lower APR on my credit card. I said, no I pressed #1 to tell you to stop calling my cell phone for the 3rd time and she ***g up on me. Filed yet another complaint with the do not call registry that I registered my cell back in Sept 2011. It's funny how as soon as I registered my cell number I s****ed getting these credit card calls from a lot of different credit card scammers, related?!?!

This is yet another scam company claiming they will save you money on credit debt. When I tried to tell them not to call, they simply ***g up. This makes two complaints filed a***nst them and I will do so every time they call. Hopefully some huge fines will c****e the way they do business. If you are registered with the National Do Dot Call Registry, report them each time and it can be done online at the link below. Got a call 5 minutes ago, didn't bother to pick it up. I usually don't pick up the phone when I see unrecognized number. Did register my number at National Do Not Call website, still get some unknown call every now and then. Wish there is a way to block those number....

Called my cell, number not in my area code locale, so I hit REJECT on my phone, then add the number to the automatic reject list. That's all it takes. Never answer a call if you do not know who it is from. Be selective who you provide your cell number to.

they call several times a day. being asking to be removed from their call list didn't work I pressed 1 and gave the phone to my 2 year old niece and told her it was santas helpers. they ***g up immediately. will be doing this every time they call from now on.

These *******s called my cell (which is on state AND Federal DNC lists!) during the work day. When I hit '1' to talk to a real, live idiot the call went on hold for 15 seconds then disconnected. The caller ID number says, "this number is not accepting calls at this time".

I completely agree with Dean Convis. I never answer phone calls from numbers that aren't in my contact list. All of my friends know that if they're going to call me from a number, that isn't their's, they will leave me a voicemail. No voicemail = no return call.

My cell phone was called on Thursday morning 2/23/12 from 407-702-0538. I did not answer, and no message was left on my cell phone. Number Guru shows Owner's Name as "Cell Phone, FL" and identifies Phone Type as "Landline". Can it be both???
