Listen sears, lowe's, home depot, etc. are all the same.Fast talking sales guys with pretty brochures and promises of quality install. In the end they are all the same. They will sub out your job to the cheapest bidder and markup your price so they can make 40% on top of the market price. Don't be surprised if on your scheduled install day 2 grungy looking guys named Pablo and Julio pull up to your driveway in a beat up datsun. This is the state of labor in this country and I can only speak for orange county, ca where I'm from but I've had used all these retail chains and then some. I had a copper repipe done by an alleged reputable installer and a ukranian family with a ***her son and cousin outfit did the install. What matters is who holds the liability when these clowns ***** up and I'd rather take sears to court when pablo and julio ***** up than to try and collect from pablo and julio themselves. So far all the installs have been good but the world of contracting is one scary place. sears made it a little easier and you will be billed accordingly.

It's totally Sears. I had them come out last week for an A/C estimate. The quote was way too high....b/c we are having a heat wave out in Seattle. Nice to know that when demand is high, they rip people off. Found a company today that will install the A/C for $3600 (not the $6800 that Sears quoted me!!!). I have a new home with a Trane heating system - just need the A/C Condenser added. Sears is calling both my cell phone and my work line. I am not sure how they got my work number.

i get a call all the time from this number. If they are a plumber boy, i do need one. boiler burst on 24 dec 2008 and i still have a mess. insurance is giving run around and friends don't know what to do. i did try some plumbers on the internet and then this number s****ed calling. yes they do not leave messages. the trip charge would be to the moon as i am in wisconsin and this states it is in flordia. well heard plumbers are expensive. lol i have to laugh or id cry. had a friend that was in plumbing but seems he is now not available in the area. well if you know who this one is let me know. thanks.

Was looking for replacement siding estimate and found one compnay on line and filled out there contact information. I thought I was only contacting one company but find out it was linked to servicemagic.com who then sends all your information to local contractors in your area.You then get calls from everyone including Sears Home Improvement centers who have tried to call me 3 times in 3 days. Luckily I have caller ID and do not answer these calls.
