Number identified but provided no information as to ID. POSSIBLE TELEMARKETING or Scam call??? Only rang twice before caller disconnected? Could be because caller identified trace ping and decided to escape before being positively caught as scam caller?? Unknown?? Scammers getting more sophisticated all the time. Just can't say for sure.

i worked for hamilton relay for over 3 years. No, the actual calls themselves are not scams. And they cost absolutely nothing. It's a free service provided either by tty for the deaf of from the Hamilton relay website www.hamiltonrelay.com. Some people abuse the service, if you are a restaurant, i have processed many calls for scammers trying to scam restaurants. I have also dealt with a lot of PRANK phone calls. Just never give your credit card number and when they ask for a favor just **** up. Just remember its not the operator making the call. He or she is just reading verbatim(word for word) what the customer on the tty or the customer on the internet is typing. So like i said dont blame the operator. And if you tell them not to call, and they call back, its not the operators fault. If the customer tells the opr to redial they must do so. Just ask the operator to talk to the supervisor and tell them you are suspecting fraud. It usually gets the customer to **** up on fear of being caught when they see the words scam or fraud on their screen. But a***n, Hamilton Relay is not a scam. It's a legitimate service for the deaf, with just a few *****s(scammers) in the system.

Guy calls via relay call saying he wants 100 of our chicken salad. Chicken Salad wraps i'm guessing he wants. Kind of fishy (and annoying b/c the call takes forever). Ask if we can communicate over email. He wants to give me his credit card and a carrier will pick up the order two weeks later (in march). I googled his name and hearing impaired and found this site. Thanks ***ps, so now i know he's a fake, but we're playing along with his game and i'm waiting to hear back about his cc # and where to send the carrier $$ to. Emails are a bit of broken English and he said in one email that he needs the order for Feb 10th (hi, it's march today). I wish i knew what number he had called from so i could help others out. Hope this will prevent anyone from getting scammed. Makes me sick. he signs "Stay Blessed" at the end of each email. ****.

Dealing with the same david bills here in dallas. He says he wants 100 grilled chicken salad for his mother's birthday. He's tried over the phone multiple times over the past 6 months and, when the western union deal came up I figured it was a scam. He asked to bill extra and send money to his "carrier" through Western Union. Recently he's tried through e-mail so I thought I'd see what info I could get out of him. I wonder what would happen if I charged his card? This is apparently the "carrier's" information:Name... Deb WakelandAddress... 1221 Colleen Street, Helena, MT 59601and here's his card info:Master CardName on Card... David BillsCard Number ... 5466160044300612Exp date ... 02/2013Hopefully that will help someone find out more about this scam.

I just about fell for this scam. Lawerence Randle sent me an email concerning with placing an order for 150 chicken salads to be picked up from our restaurant. He also used the hearing impaired relay ****od saying he just had surgery and was in the hospital, so he couldnt personally pick it up. After he sent the info for the "carrier" in email; I looked it up. Thank god i did! Thank you to everyone for getting the word out. Let's hope the FBI can stop it before someone gets hurt.

Same scam - send the money to Deb Wakeland at 1221 Colleen St in Helena, MT for the delivery (or picker service as she used) fee of $975! And she wanted to order 100 chicken salds from me! i just wanted everyone to know that the same thing happened to me yes****ay. a person by the name of David Bills who also used a relay operator claiming they were hearing impaired called my restaurant wanting to place a large pick up order and that he would pay with his card over the phone. however, we don't take card numbers over the phone. feeling su****ious, i called other local restaurant owners i'm friends with and they said they received the same calls! business owners beware! it's some sort of scam.

I just received a call from this number with caller ID of Hamilton Relay.I looked them up on the internet and found the company. I just called them and left a complaint. I am also going to file a complaint with the FBI. My call was a bit different. I have a food business and the call was telling me that someone named David Bills wanted to place an order. It took forever! It was as if he couldn't type. A simple*****o took 4 minutes. So finally after being patient for a half hour, he asked for the food to be picked up and for me to include $1000.00 with the order and he would pay me by money order. BINGO! My heart sank at the idea that someone would use "hearing impared" to try and cheat me. What the heck is happening to people!!! I am really hurt and ****ed off! I work with the hearing impaired and other groups who need****istance and it really is low and ***** that someone would do this! I am going to take this as far as I can take it! Someone has to stop this ****!!! Maybe the FBT can!

This is a very sad abuse of pretending to be a "relay service for the deaf"!! But the irony for this case is I AM DEAF and I received these calls, too!! If anybody who had known me would know not to use the relay service to contact me. I am glad that I typed the number on the Google and googled it and came upon this site! But I do hope that any police service or FBI catches these persons pretending to be a "relay service"! It hurts the hearing impaired world who need to use the service. Especially for those customers wants to buy a puppy from a legimate seller so if seller gets a lot of those such calls then how would they know a real one from the fake one?!

I got two calls from this number today, and in them they were complementing me and then asking me why I had ***g up the first time. When I told the woman who was the "relay person" that i wanted her to type who are you please leave me alone, she said that we didn't have to take these calls. Then after I had ***g up, they called my friend and were saying things like "where is she? I know you are with her. you two look so cute together" and they person knew where my dorm was and that they wanted to meet me.. It was extremely creepy. I think that it is a legitimate service, I just think that creeps are abusing it! Watch out for these calls!
