I, too have received a call from this number as well as many others with the same song and dance and I always immediately go online to check them out. I can't say for sure as to whether or not this is or is not a spammer, but I did read many of the comments that have been posted in regards to this number and felt that there is so****ing that the public may not be 100% aware of when they signed up for the wonderous " do not call list". I used to work for Gallup, you know those wonderful people who call you at the most horrifyingly inopportune times and push and push and push to get "just a few minutes of your precious time"? Well, I'm not sure how much you all know about that lovely company (one which requires****ential employees to take a 45min-1 hour in dept personality test before even considering whether or not you can even SUBMIT an application and resume to them. And if you don't pass their specific profile your denied within 1-3 mins time thru email and you've just wasted that time) but Gallup has contracts with hospitals, banks, newsgroups, they have some lines that go into other countries even. So, all of these employees that have been picked based on personality****ets that show they are "go-getters, and sales-people by nature, truly persuasive, friendly, just generally have the qualities needed to talk circles around the general populace in the company's opinion" are on the phones all over the place, making calls on behalf of all sorts of companies, (lots of banks wanting to know just how nice your last visit was so they might improve in areas) and these people have some serious high quotas that they are expected to meet if they even hope to have any life outside of that place because you only get paid for time that you are actually getting those surveys completed and all that time when you get no answers and ma****es and **** ups that's time your working for nothing and time you have to make up later. It's a pretty twisted system, but the BEST part of all of it is this...the DO NOT CALL LIST yeah that doesn't apply to them because you are in business with the companies going to them asking for this "crucial information needed to improve quality for all customers". So it is that company who is handing over only very small pieces of your information, nothing that's illegal, but still it may not be so****ing you would feel comfortable with if you knew all about it. They are not telemarketers and are not trying to sell anything and they can and will tell you the do not call list does not apply to them. My suggestion should you encounter this situation would be to ask them who they are calling on behalf of a***n so you can confront the business yourself and ensure your information is not used in such a way in the future and to ask the person on the phone who THEY work for and demand to be permanently removed from all of their lists forever. You can do this. It may or may not work 100% but it can be done they CAN wipe your number from all databases. Honestly, I'm not sure I have just *****ed myself in saying all this but it is so****ing people need to know if they don't already.

This is a spammer's number. Seems like he's not savvy enough to hide his number. But he, or his hired boiler room workers, are listening to my music. I have an Internet radio playing on my laptop all the time I am home and when this guy, or others of his ilk, call I answer the phone and put it on top of the laptop where they listen to 'Beautiful soothing music' for a minute or so before they **** up. I'm giving them the most soothing minute+ of their day...:) This scheme works great for me. I believe it ties up their resources for a wasted minute or two which costs them money so my number gets off these lists fast....This is a spammer's number. These people are trying to find out if you are home or not so that they can burglarize your home. Do your homework people! They also leave fake flyers on your door saying sorry we missed you, but it is trouble. If this is happening to you call your local police or sheriff's department!

This company called me and tried to get me to go look at a timeshare condo in Orlando. I am on the do not call list and when I told them that they claimed they are exempt from it because they are offering "free" vacations. Then they tried to get a credit card number to "hold the reservation" and said it would only be charged $1200 if I didn't buy a timeshare. Scam - **** up on them!

Most market research firms don't **** up repeatedly when someone answers, so legit or not, calling 5 times in 10 minutes is riduculous and the 2 times we answered there was no one on the other end. I live in Omaha and a will be calling their local number tomorrow to complain to someone, give them my opinion on their business, and have our personal cell phone numbers taken off of their list.
