Called me to tell me I owed $110 from MTA, which is in NYC - I live in Ohio. Told me they were collections calling on a debt for 3 years ago. Had my old address, old car license plate number. Told them to only correspond with me via mail and gave updated address. Not sure if they now plan on trying to reach me via mail hoping I will call in and give my credit card info?
NTDI" likely stands for "National Telemarketing Do Not Call Registry" and if they are calling you, it could be a scam attempt, even though the name suggests a legitimate "Do Not Call" registry; most likely, they are trying to trick you into providing personal information by pretending to be a legitimate company related to managing your phone number on the Do Not Call list.
Advertised a product on Facebook & once I paid. Tried to scam me out of more money. $400 before he’d release items. Told him to get lost. Refuses to refund money. The whole business on Facebook is a scam. I even verified everything & still ended up getting scammed!
