My wife got a call from this #. We ignore such numbers now. But, yes****ay we were taken by surprise with a call from 202-241-9018, posing as IRS investigating officers threatening to arrest her for errors in our past tax return. Luckily, I realized it was a scam half way through and got off saying I would call back. She then got 10 more missed calls from the same #, but no message. When I called back the #, the VM said "Internal Revenue Service...".. When my wife s****ed ignoring and blocked the #, then s****ed getting calls from other "IRS" offices including this. When I called back, # cannot be reached!! We reported to the local police; apparently they received a lot of calls and the police said in one case some gentleman lost about 11k through this scam. So beware and warn as many friends and family as you could.

I received a call from this number at 11:12 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 on my cell phone. I wasn't able to answer the phone. There was no message left. I called the number and the recording said party isn't accepting calls at this time. This is the second time in a week that I have received a spam call. The first call was from a different number. I reported that call as well. I am on the do not call list.

They left a message on my phone - if you want to speak to an agent press 1. I****ume this is for time-share stuff since it is originating in Kissimmee. Place yourself on Do Not Call - include all cell phones and home phones. Make sure you receive the email and register. If you dont, your phone is not entered into the Do Not Call list

Called my cell phone; I didn't answer. Seconds later my husband's cell phone received a call from the same phone number. He answered and it was a recorded message. He didn't listen long enough to hear what they were saying. Very irritating as they are annoying and using our limited cell phone minutes. Can't someone put a stop to these calls??
