I, too, spoke with Jean at this CBE Group by calling (800) 925-6686 where I simply asked to speak with someone who could remove my # from their calling list. I gave her my mobile# and she found the record where they were trying to contact some lady at my # (and she confirmed with me her name- the same name as in the recording when I answered their calls). Jean said I was removed from their list and would not be called a***n. They do not have a phone # removal confirmation system and gave me her word that my # was removed. I'll come back and post if I receive another call from them. So far I'm pleased with the ease of removal and that I was able to be pleasant to Jean about a frustrating situation ;)

I am unaffected because I refuse to call back or answer even to ask them to put me on the do not call list. They wont do what I ask anyway so I waste their time. Eventually they may leave a message so I have evidence a***nst them. Until then, if it is not important enough to them to leave evidence in the form of a message, then I know it is a scam! I am unaffected.

Just got a new phone installed and this was the first call I got. Asking for someone who used to live there.HOW DID THEY GET THE NUMBER? I want to know since our name is not even remotely close to the last person who lived here and the person they WERE looking for hasn't been here for over 1 1/2 yrs before them!!!

well... i got they are call everyday too. but what i did is call them back with this number 319-274-1902. and tell them that the person they looking for is not here. ask them to remove your number from their list. then they won't call your number anymore.;

Got a few calls from this number today on my cell and if I don't know the caller, I don't answer. W***ver it is needs to stop. If it's a collector, it's not like they're gonna get any money. I am still unemployed.
