Left a voicemail saying he was looking for counseling.

I work at a counseling practice, answering the phones and scheduling clients. So when this guy called and inquired about counseling, it seemed like business as usual to me. The longer I spoke to him, the more odd the interaction became. He kept mentioning that he was a "Male Volunteer for Girl Power." When I called his number back later, it sounded like a call center.

This guy called me last Friday with the same concerns. I am so glad I Google his number.

Received a call from a guy named Tim said he was going to be working with girl power and was required to see a counselor before moving to the area. Asked for email address and phone number. Googled his number and found this thread. Blocked his number immediately.

Identical experience as other posters. "Tim" left a voicemail claiming he was seeking counseling services. When I returned the call I realized it was a spam number and ***g out before anyone picked up.

Individual named Tim left a voicemail stating he was looking for counseling. Attempted to call back and got a machine that stated it would direct me to a representative. Looked up the number and found this thread.

The caller left a voicemail claiming he was looking for counseling. Spoke with him and scheduled a consult for a later time and date. He seemed odd so I googled his number and found this site. He states that he has a series of questions to go through regarding the Girl Power organization and finding a the******. Don't waste your time. **** up the phone.

Do not answer, entertain, or return this call if it's missed and a voicemail is left. When I inquired about "Girl Power", "Tim" became ***ually descriptive, and he appeared to be targeting the******s as a fetish. I blocked the number.

The caller said his name was Tim and to call about counseling. He called my personal cell which I never give out. I called and got an automated line. I googled and found this thread.

Caller left a voicemail asking for a call back for therapy. When I called there was an automated message asking to be connected to customer service. It then played music and the recording said please leave a message. I did not leave a message. I searched the number and found this thread. Glad I missed the call. The number is blocked and marked as spam.

Stated he was calling because he would be relocating to my area in 8 weeks and needed a counselor. Because I am a counselor I entertained the call for about two minutes thinking this was going to be a consult. Stated he volunteered for a program called Girl Power and his role was to be abused by the women. I googled the number while on the phone and found this thread. Beware!

Caller left a voicemail asking me to call him back in reference to counseling. I Googled the number and found this thread, so I did not call him back.

Caller was looking for a counselor. Apart of a Girl Power program, told him I wasn’t familiar with it and he said you’re not supposed to. He said his situation was unique and had a list of therapists that he was given by Girl Power to look for as he was being transferred to live where I was located
(317) 747-0207
Said he worked with Girl Power and was looking for a counselor
(317) 747-0207
Didn't think I would find people who had the same experience! Like other commenters, he said he asked "to speak to the counselor" and said he "needed to find one so that he could complete the Girl Power program". I'm a the****** so I entertained his call for about 30 sec before realizing how ***ue and odd he was being. Told him I couldn't help and ***g up.

Beware ! The caller call with limited information or plan stating “hello is this the counselor” . Once I asked him who he was specifically looking for , he couldn’t give any additional information . Just stated that he was required to s**** doing consulting when “they” focus him to relocate . Then said he’s required to pay the highest rate up to $500.00. Didn’t want to give a name.

This guy by the name of Tim was seeking counseling service. Says that he is apart of a program called Girl Power and that he had a choice to go to jail for 5 years or be apart of the program. Says he was behind on child support and the judge gave him the option to choose the program or jail. Says the program is for women to abuse him and that’s his punishment.
