these people are from a fraudulent company and if they call saying you owe them money do not give them any information. they will say they are going to take you to court, tell them that you have filed a complaint with the federal trade commission and then tell them not to contact you a***n. and **** up. if they call back, repeat the process until they get it through their thick skulls

This company called me, told me exact same thing that i have a lawsuit out a***nst me. continued to call about 15-20 times a day. I have done cash advances before but have paid them off. I thought maybe I forgot one. I faxed my info to them so that they could have 300 for my first payment then 300 for my second and final payment. Thank god that my husband got my pin # wrong three times at the store because that deactivated my card and they were unsuccessful withdrawing the first payment. I had such a hard time understanding them that I complained to my husband that I was ready to pull my hair out because I didn't understand the men that kept calling about the cash advance i owe. He said he would call them and asked if they sent proof of this lawsuit a***nst me. I said no. He called and demanded proof and they refused. They specifically said once you pay me the 600 dollars we will send you proof. Lesson well learned. The very next day, my brother told me he was broke because of the loan company he had to pay, just to make small taIk, I told him my story about my recent "loan" and his jaw hit the floor! Same scenario on his end but he, unfortunately, authorized payment and they have taken 1000 dollars of his money. (which is what I wouldv'e done if it wasn't for my wonderful hero of a husband!!!

I was at McDonalds when I received a call from a guy with a middle eastern accent asking to speak with my wife claiming that a law suit had been filed a***nst her and he needed to speak to her right away to resolve the matter. I then informed him that I would have my wife to give him a call later and I ***g up. He called back immediately and I did not answer. He called several more times before I returned to my vehicle constantly. When I had returned to my vehicle I had gotten  tired of his calls so I answered to tell him to stop the harrassing calls and he s****ed cursing uncontroably then I ***g up. He called right backi turned the phone on and he replied and I quote "*****o, brother b____, you ****** mother f_____, say somthing brother b____." This person w***ver he is better hope the authorities/ law gets to him before I do.

I have been getting calls from multiple numbers with the same Indian/Middle Eastern type accent saying that they have a lawsuit a***nst me and they even have parts of my information, but not what they would need to have to sue me. When I told him he would need to send me the information in writing, he said that he couldn't and got rather rude. I told him that I know I could not be being sued without written notification but he just kept pressing. Don't answer any number that you don't know. He is now trying to bother me at work. I have alerted my coworkers to this and told them to tell him I am unavailable during office hours. Good Luck to anyone who is similarly being harrassed. If I could find out exactly what company is doing this, I would sue them for threatening communication.

Man calls looking for a relative then goes on to say that I have a legal mcase a***nst my social security number. First time he called he said he couldn't discuss it a ***g up when  I told him to tell me about the case a***nst me. He then called a***n two weeks later and left a voicemail saying a***n he was calling for my relative and then proceeded to tell me that I have legal troubled and to not disregard this call saying that he would go ahead with the legal action if he does not hear back from me. The first call was from a cell phone number in texas (210-693-1074), the second from (315-551-5***), and in the voicemail he left a third nunber to call him back at (213-816-0951).

Officer "Greg Wilson", who was definately from a foreign country and didn't fit the name, Left message stating my fiance had committed a fraud with a finance company using my name and number as family reference.  Finance company has come up with legal case a***nst my fiance (stated his name)  and he wanted me to convey the message to my fiance because he could help him out of this "legal mess"  Left call back #: 469-821-0335  FYI. My fiance told me he recently filled out an online application for a loan through money mutual...really ******... i know!  Ever since then he has been getting scam phone calls and because he put my number down as a reference, i have been getting calls too!

I keep getting these calls too from 315-551-5***, today was Daniel first - followed by at least 3 different males. This s****ed as debt collection call (for a previously discharged debt through bankruptcy)  - he said there was a law suit a***nst me and he was with a law firm and I s****ed to laugh at him. He wouldn't give me his information, even after giving him my attorney's name and number. He then proceeded to say he wanted to f**** me in the a**** and asked about my p***! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? After I ***g up on him, another man called saying the same things ... they wouldn't give me any info to give to my attorney .... LET'S GET THESE *******S!

I recieved a phone call from 315)551-5***, which on my cell phone showed up as a call from Syracuse NY. A man with a very heavy middle eastern accent left a message looking for a friend of mine that the man says used me as online reference. They were letting me know of pending legal action a***nst my friend. I didnt understand him very well, but he said UNLV or UNLD, a law firm. He left a return number of 408)520-2483. The only other thing I can think that would tie me to this friend, is that I sent him some money a few months ago via Money Gram online.It sounded like the caller identified himself as "officer Mark Hossting"...

These people are scammers.  I was ****** enough to look for loans online and I believe that even though a website says it's secure, it's not always secure, because these people got my name, phone number and SS# from somewhere.  I didn't give it to them.  They keep calling my cell phone, work phone, and employer.  They've also disguised their number as a local number so I answered it.  They are threatening a lawsuit a***nst me and say I need a criminal lawyer.  I've told them several times to stop calling me and I **** up.  They say they're UNLV and the guy gives me a different name every time he calls.  Today it was Andy Jones.

I received a call from a number 315-551-5*** claiming their was a lawsuit filed and I could call back a different number 408-520-2483.  He told me he was calling from UNLV and he was an officer named Jack Johnson.  If I did not call back then he was sorry to tell me that I was going to have to go to court. Indian/Middle Eastern type accent saying that they have a lawsuit a***nst me and they even have parts of my information, but not what they would need to have to sue me. These people had very specific information about me and online loan applications that I had submitted and told me that I hadn't paid the loan and that now there was action a***nst me and if I didn't pay them I would be arrested! I quickly argued and told them they were extorting money from me and the guy who sounded Indian or ****stani got angry and told me he was going to call my work and all my contacts and tell them I was going to jail and have the officers come and "pick you up", then he ***g up on me.Nice, huh?

Our business receives 15 to 20 calls a day from this person, asks for one particular employee and proceeds to speak nothing but obscene statements.  We have contacted the local police department but they are of no help....does anyone have any other suggestions....the person that calls is mail with a very strong middle eastern accent and gives different names.  We have told him that the police are tracing the calls and this does not deter him...it is very offensive to the people answer the phones...if anyone has had any success with obtaining information please let us know.

Yes what's up with this these people called me last week on my cell and at my job HTF do they have my work number said I'm being sued $300 for a payday loan I don't even do these and companies don't sue for no $300 they will send that to collections. They all had an Indian accent ****es me off how our personal info is shipped overseas and people call me with thick accents can't understand them on another note if they call a***n tell them you filed bk that will make them stop calling!

They called me at 6:25am saying I have a lawsuit a***nst me in my name and social security number for a payday loan for a company called FF financial I told them I never took a payday loan out so whatever he got mad and said then why is there a lawsuit a***nst you, I told him to send me the paperwork because you guys are to trying to scam me to make me pay and the sheriff is coming after you he got ****ed and ***g up.

I had a voicemail on my office phone on Nov. 30 at 2:38 pm from Officer Johnson from UNLV, stating there was a lawsuit filed a***nst me and my social security number with the last for digits...then ***g up.  Lots of noise in the background.  Strong accent.  I tried to call the number back but it was busy. Wonder if they will try to call back?

this exact call came in to me, same info and everything, I told him I never took a loan and if you were certain it was me send the paperwork, told me he couldn't, if you have a debt with someone I am not sure why they cannot supply you with the paperwork as proof of debt, he got mad and I ***g up...

This person constantly is calling and leaving a message that there was a pending lawsuit a***nst me and my social security number. He said his name is officer james Brown . Give me a break. I want these calls to stop. This is a scam. He has a thick indian middle eastern accent

Oh and same middle eastern accent and all names of men i spoke to began with "officer" also. The two phone numbers were (769) 718-7315 and (315) 551-5***. I reported them to the BBB and will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission, as well.

Caller called my daughter, threatened her if she did not give him my phone number that she would be arrested immediately.  Would not teller a number that could be called back to.  Only that he had to have my number.  She ***g up on him.

Some guy just called my job from this number stating he was from UNLV. Told him that I'm at work and he wanted to know when I would be available.  Advised him that I know he's a fraud and not to call me a***n.

I just got a missed call from 315-551-5*** on my cell phone, luckily I was at lunch, so, I didn't pick up. Is there somewhere we can report this number to? Where did these people get our phone numbers from?

PS, I've not filled out any sort of form online at all recently or in the past for a loan, or anything money related...
