This is an automated message from your local li***ry. You either have so****ing overdue or so****ing to pick-up.The system is designed not to s**** the automated message until a certain # of seconds into the call, in case of an answering ma****e pick-up (giving time to get past the "beep" so that you get the full message, not just the 2nd half of it). Sometimes, this pause seems too long, and thus, people **** up****uming nothing is on the line. I overhear my li***ry staff explaining this system to people all the time. It seems a lot of people ignore these calls because they don't recognize the number.
