They have constantly called ever since I placed information on this website --> http://americanlibertyscholarship.com/index.cfm?source=UR I didn't know that the website was probably a scam site, but when I first answered it was just blank on the other end. I've heard many people say that it's a scam number. I cannot get a new phone, block or c****e the number as it is Tracfone and I do not have the money for a new one at the moment. I'd really like the calls to stop as it wastes my time and disturbs me.

these people s****ed calling me today 7/27/10 about 7 times beteen 7am and 7pm. I finally answered and they ***g up. When I called back I got a message saying 'this is customer service. Leave your name and number and we'll return your call' and they **** up. According to online, this has been going on since 2008, same number, same ****up/no name to the company answering ma****e.

This was a college finding site that my parents signed me up for when i was looking at grants and scholarship money. They called and tried to find a college or so****ing for me. This of course was after calling 6 times in a 4 hour period while i was at work and when not saying anything after i picked up the phone about 3 times.

There has to be a common denomiator somewhere here. Could it be a phone company's way to get you to pay for [Call Block Service}? I wouldn't put it past any of them, especially AT&T. Best thing to do is report them locally and at the Oswego, NY Police Departments.

Someone from 315-207-4761 keeps on calling. I finally answered the call today and someone with an accent that I had troubles understanding said that they were from the "University and College Finder." I had to have him repeat the name many times just to get it all. They actually had my daughter's first name. Her name is not a common name and that bothers me. I told them that she would not be back for 1 1/2 weeks (and they tried to get off the phone as fast as possible at that point), but then they called a***n just an hour or so later. This time, no one said anything. I did a little research online and they have a LOT of complaints. I tried calling them back, but it went straight to an answering ma****e with no business name whatsoever, just leave name, number, and message and someone would get back as soon as possible! That is NOT the way any respectable business, especially one for helping students find colleges, would behave. Stay away from this number! I will be filing complaints with anyone that I can.

The following telephone number 315-207-4761 called me asking for personal information regarding my education status. I never ever give out any personal information and usually **** up on callers asking for personal information. However, my 2 1/2 year old son answered the phone and I thought it was my college doing an exit interview for graduating seniors. The timing seemed right and the information that the caller had on me made gave me reason to believe it was my college. This caller asked date of high school graduation and if I planned on pursuing additional education. At the closure of the call, they ask for date of birth verification. I fell right into the trap like a fool! Now, I am scared! I researched the number online and other people are having the same problem. This just does not sound right.....asking for date of birth.....plus, they ask for employer information.....why? I don't want other people to fall into this trap.

They called and the dude had an accent so i couldnt make out exactly what he represented. he knew my name i think? unless i confused watevr name he mumbled with my own. he asked me to verify the email, and he knew the email i said yea correct and he asked me abotu school and i told him i go in the fall. and asked if i was born in 90 or 89. i answered that. then hes like u hav any questions and im like not that i cna think of then hes like good bye..i said bye thank u...i dont know for wat tho. im not sure wat kind of things anyone can do with the information there. im so worried anyone can help? or atleast calm me?

I've gotten several calls from this number today and it's driving me crazy! Usually, I just don't pick up the phone if it's a number I don't recognize (so then they'll just leave a message or whatever), but I figured I'd answer after they called two times within the minute (CREEPY!). I picked it up, said, "Hello", twice and they ***g up. I did hear VERY quiet noises on the other line (like two people whispering). So I looked the number up on Google and found a LOT of complaints about this number. Some people mentioned it was because they filled out stuff on collegeboard.com, so I'm guessing that must be it. But I SERIOUSLY hope they stop calling, because it's BEYOND annoying.

Yeah, I received about 5 calls already from this number. I just ignored their last call. They would not say where they were located, they reply I received was they could not tell anyone due to security reasons. R they serious !! First call received today 25 April 2008, shortly after filling out an online form for free Revlon 3D mascara.  After filling in the form and especting a confirmation, instead I was presented with pages of questions asking me about my interests and if I wanted this or that, etc.  I checked NO to everything. I know some of the questions were concerning continuing education & colleges.  While sear****g online, a couple of forums have identified the number as belonging to University Finders.  Don't know if that's true, but it makes since, except for the fact that I answered NO to information about education.  Hope this helps in finding w***ver this is and stopping them.

For the past week I have been getting calls on my cell phone from this number (315-207-4761)at all hours of the day. I have never answered it...because I don't answer numbers I don't know. I figure if it is that important they will leave a message. But they never have. Tonight I left my phone at the house while I went to a friends for dinner. We left at 5:30 p.m. and got home at 9:00 p.m.. My phone showed 6 missed phone calls, all from this number. needless to say next time I will be answering. And then I will have a block put on after that!

Person calls numerous times a day and either ****s up after one ring or will ask for personal information. If you ask the person to quit calling, they will not. They will not leave voicemails and if you call back all you get is an answering ma****e that gives no name to a business but asks you to leave your name and number. The phone calls are getting to the harassment point because they will call over 20 times a day. I hope this gets taken care of quickly because there are ***dreds or thousands of people who are getting these calls.

4 to 5 calls a day. Fiance is in school and was resear****g some colleges... after reading a lot of blogs on the net about this number, we feel they got it from that somehow. Regardless, they need to shut them down. It's some sort of scam i'm sure. 1 post said that they charge u $1 on ur phone bill when u call the number back. i havent tried that to know if its true but if u havent called it, don't. thye have called over & over and they sound like they are in a call center, they may have forgotten to **** up and i have a voice mail where they are laughing and talking about all the calls they make and how they are going to contiune.I am pretty sure that they don't care about any of us.they must have to make a certian amount a calls a day on all their lines and they are just going to keep it up, my voice mail lasted almost 9 minutes...

Woman said I had signed up for Online training. Informed her I knew nothing about this and that if the calls didn't stop I was going to contact our State's Attorney's office. Then received another call from another number and a man said he was removing me from the list and gave me an Earthlink email address that was suppose to have been used to sign up for the courses. I've gotten some **** up calls from this number. Other people on the web have reported similar experiences. I think they call on the pretense of asking if you'd like to receive some sort of college information, but they're really just taking down your info so they can sell it to others to send you junk mail, or get more calls. Told me I requested information, then asked questions such as, "Where and when did you receive your high school diploma?" When I told them it was none of her business b/c I had not requested information, she launched into a lecture of how rude I am and continued to yell at me while I calmly asked for her supervisor. Don't fall for it. They just want your info to scam you. If you call back, you get a charge on your phone bill. Just ignore their phone calls.....Delete your computer cache...Be WARY. I called and left a message asking that they remove me from their do not call list and a young kid/teen calls me back with an arrogant laughing at***ude saying "I dont think so" and then he ***g up. My wife just got verizon. the calls just s****ed on 7/1-within a week. It looks like Verizon has a security gap. I guess we have a long way to go with these annoyances. I'm gonna try to answer their next call as a non existent city police department(we get sheriff only), and see if that scares em off!. Incidentally I do have a crim justice degree. Just s****ed getting this call today 12-4-08. I also called the number back and left a message asking them to remove my number. They called at 9:46 a.m & then a***n at 12:47 p.m. I have registered my number on the do not call list and it seems ever since I did that I've been getting triple the calls. This a.m. (9/8/08) when I answered, a woman with a foreign accent s****ed asking me personal information about my 17-year-old.
