It is a number from Western Union to verify info.Did not answer this number as I didnt know who it was on the phone. Called back the number, it is a recording for Western Union. Pressed 0 to speak with someone, the phone just rings and goes to an answering ma****e. Called the number back 8 times, ***ody answered. I called Western Union Customer Service, the rep told me they do not have this number in their system, and to just ignore it. I said I was concerned that they have my info, so she proceeded to transfer me to the fraud dept. The agent from the fraud dept said he did not have it in his system and do to a fraud report, he had said he called it and it said "out of service" we confirmed the number 3x. At this point I was very frustrated, and wanted to speak to the supervisor. After holding for 15 minutes, Spoke to the supervisor of the fraud dept, he head said he recognized this number and called it just to make sure, and got the same recording I did, and it is a number from western union and funds were put on hold until I could verify a few things with me. (obviously the prev agent misdialed the number) I put in a complaint, that if you call someone to verify and putting the customers funds on HOLD in the mean time, you need to leave a MSG or if you don't, have a VALID number so when the person calls back someone answers. Also make CUSTOMER SERVICE with Western Union AWARE of this number calling people. I would of never known this number was legit, and my funds would of been placed on hold without any recourse on my end. I had to speak to the three different people in Western Union to get to the bottom of this. This is not good business practice, especially when dealing with money.

I usually receive several calls to my cell phone from this number from time to time but I do not answer. However, this is a landline and supposedly a company and their from Denver. However, companies are not allowed to call you at varies times throughout the day. Their restricted from calling you after certain hours and each state is different. I strongly believe this is not Western Union.
