Called me and didn't know what to say at first so he said yeah this is John and then he hesitates with a pause as if he is being coached. He then says this is John and I asked what is this call in reference to and who are you calling for. He says the reason for this recorded call is because I am calling from the Police & Sheriffs****ociation to raise money for police officers injured in the line of duty. I ***g up after that because it sounds scammy.

Said they were collecting donations for local police who were injured/disabled on the job. When I asked why he was calling a New York number from a Delaware number while referencing "local" police, he said, "mmmm...bye bye" and ***g up. Not sure if they are scammers or not, since that was all the info provided before ****ing up; although, if I had to wager a guess, I would say they probably are.
