I received a text this afternoon at 1 PM stating: “Your WeIIs onIine is currently under review due to an unauthorized sign In attempt. Please confirm your iden***y, reply WeIIs to receive a secure link.“ I don’t own any accounts with “Wells” anywhere in the name and the random capitalization coupled with the odd punctuation/ grammar just screams scam/spam. It’s best to report and block.

Received:“Your Wells online is currently under review due to an unauthorized sign In attempt. Please confirm your iden***y, reply Wells to receive a secure link.” Note that it says “Wells”and not “Wells Fargo”, if that’s what the sender is trying to trick people to think it’s your bank. Also, that capital “I” in “sign In attempt.”
